Release Dates Locked For Ranbir Kapoor, Yash's 'Ramayana Part 1 and Part 2'
Mumbai, November 6 - Director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana has officially been announced months after going into production. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Lankesh, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. ## The epic will be released in two parts with the first part coming on Diwali 2026 and part 2 on Diwali 2027. Easily the biggest Indian movie in the making, Ramayana is produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios in association with Yash's Monster Mind Creations. ## The Oscar-winning combo of Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman is on board to do music and background score while DNEG, which has won multiple Oscars, will be doing the VFX of Ramayana.
