Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela To Headline Director Anurag Basu's Next Musical Romance Film; First Look And Release Date Revealed

Mumbai, February 15 - Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan will romance South Indian actress Sreeleela in director Anurag Basu's intense musical romantic drama. Bhushan Kumar will produce this film under his banner T-Series while Pritam has given the music.

The yet-untitled film was earlier supposed to be the third instalment of the cult Aashiqui franchise but it is not the case anymore due to right issues. The title of the film will be announced in due course as the makers have confirmed that the film will hit the big screens on Diwali 2025.



On Saturday (February 15), T-Series announced the film officially with the first look teaser. The first look glimpse features Kartik as a singer, signing the iconic song - Tu Aashiqui Hai, and also having some romantic moments with the leading lady, Sreeleela.

The movie will be Kartik's next release after last year's blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. It will clash with Maddock Films' Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna during the Diwali weekend. More details will be announced soon.
