Mumbai, January 23 - The advance booking of Pathaan is continuing with strong momentum. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has already scored the biggest pre-sales for a Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic and now, it has scored the biggest advance sales ever for the opening weekend. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan's" advance booking for the 5-day opening weekend is around 47 crores gross (as of Jan. 23), which is the highest-ever for a Bollywood film. It has crossed Anand's own directorial "War" which had minted approx. 42 crores gross advance sales for the opening weekend in 2019. ## "Pathaan" is expected to create a run riot at the box office, at least, for the opening weekend. The opening day pre-sales for the movie are currently around 22 crores gross and it is expected to cross "War" opening day by tonight. Mumbai, January 18 - Yash Raj Films has opened the advance booking of its highly-anticipated spy action thriller Pathaan on limited screens in IMAX, 4DX, and 2D formats. ## The full-fledged advance booking of this Shah Rukh Khan-fronted will kickstart from January 20, but ahead of that, the response to limited pre-sales is terrific, to say the least. The same is being seen overseas where advances opened 15 days before the release.## The advance booking post the covid-19 pandemic hasn't really created much interest within the Bollywood industry except for "Brahmastra" but here, "Pathaan" has given an early indication of what's coming.
