Box Office: Crew Hits 100 Crore Worldwide Gross

Mumbai, April 7 - In one of the major surprises of the year, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon-fronted heist comedy film Crew has topped 100 crores at the worldwide box office and emerged as a hit venture for the makers. ## Directed by Lootcase fame Rajesh A Krishnan, the all-female-led entertainer reached the 100 crore gross globally on its 10th day and becomes the 5th Bollywood film of 2024 to achieve the feat after Fighter, Shaitaan, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Article 370. ## Crew has grossed approximately 69 crores (including an estimated second Sunday collection) in India and an estimated 36 crores overseas for 105+ crores worldwide gross in 10 days. With this, it has surpassed the total collection of Article 370 and becomes the 4th highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year. ## It has become Kareena Kapoor's 12th film to enter the 100 crores worldwide box office club while for Tabu, Crew is her 11th film (including supporting roles), and 6th for Kriti Sanon. Madhava, and Janki Bodiwala, Shaitaan has grossed approximately 166.75 crores in India and an estimated 33.25 crores overseas in 4 weeks (28 days) for worldwide 200 crores gross. The movie is likely to score another 3-4 crores gross to finish around 205 crores. ## Shaitaan is the 6th film for Ajay Devgn to enter the 200 crores worldwide gross club, after Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Drishyam 2, Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal, and Singham Returns while R. Mumbai, April 2 - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon finally scored a success in the form of romantic-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film was released during Valentine's Day week on February 9. ## The Maddock Films and Jio Studios' production wasn't loved by most critics but audiences showered praise towards the film that translated into a box office hit. TBMAUJ opened to decent numbers of approximately 6.70 crores net, followed by the opening weekend of 28+ crores net. ## The movie showed consistency during the weekdays and jumped on weekends to stay afloat and did enough to emerge a much-needed box office success for the lead actors. The movie's box office run is almost completed with a domestic gross collection of over 100 crores (85 crores net). ## Overseas, TBMAUJ has had a good run as it grossed an estimated 40 crores, and combined with the domestic collection of approximately 101.25 crores, the movie minted an estimated 141+ crores worldwide. Mumbai, March 22 - Ajay Devgn-fronted supernatural thriller Shaitaan has had a very good second week at the domestic box office, dropping just around 55% from the opening frame and also going past the 100 crores net mark. ## Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan scored approximately 34.50 crores net in the second week, pushing the total collection to over 114+ crores in 14 days. The movie is currently the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2024 and is looking to finish over 150 crores in India net. ## At the overseas box office, the movie has so far minted an estimated 30 crores as worldwide total crossed 165 crores gross. The announcement came out of the blue which led to speculations that the actor's The Bull with producer Karan Johar and director Vishnuvardhaan, is shelved. ## The official announcement of The Bull hasn't been made yet but it was supposed to be Salman's immediate next. It has so far grossed an estimated 99.50 crores, including 87 crores in India and 12.50 crores overseas in 27 days. ## Article 370 is the 4th Bollywood movie of 2024, after Fighter, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Shaitaan to cross the milestone of 100 crores worldwide gross. The movie dropped a bit heavily on its first Monday despite super-positive reviews and this posed a threat as far as the film's lifetime collection was concerned at that time. ## However, staying true to its title, Fighter fought back and managed to rebound with solid consistency over the next couple of weeks. The streaming giant has announced a new slate with 70 Indian shows and movies that are scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform over the next two years. ## Amid the original shows and movies, Prime Video also announced several films which will premiere after their theatrical releases. While some of the films are already in the filming stage, some of them will start rolling soon and will premiere on Prime Video after completing their theatrical journey. ## Here are all the Indian movies coming to Prime Video after their theatrical release - ## Housefull 5 - The fifth instalment in the popular comedy franchise, the movie stars Akshay Kumar, and Riteish Deshmukh in the leading roles. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, HF5 is scheduled to hit big screens on June 6, 2025. ## Chandu Champion - Actor Kartik Aaryan teamed up with director Kabir Khan for this inspirational sports drama, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie is scheduled to be released theatrically on June 14, 2024. ## Singham 3 - Director Rohit Shetty aims to make a solid comeback at the box office with the third instalment of the cop action drama, starring Ajay Devgn in the title role. It will be directed by Adnan A Shaikh and Yasir Jah, and it will be released in 2025. ## Kantara: Chapter 1 - Actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty's period action thriller film is a prequel to his mega-blockbuster film Kantara. The movie is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and it will have a Pan India release later this year. ## Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Director Krish Jagarlamudi's period action adventure film starring Pawan Kalyan has been in production for a long time. Produced by Mega Surya Production, the film also stars Nidhi Agarwal, and Bobby Deol in prominent roles. ## Stree 2 - The hugely-awaited sequel to 2018's horror-comedy, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khuranna will be hitting cinemas this August. It is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. ## Ikkis - A biopic of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal PVC, the most highly decorated hero of the 1971 War, the movie stars Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra, and Jaideep Ahlawat. It is directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Maddock Films. ## Ustaad Bhagat Singh - Director Harish Shankar reunited with superstar Pawan Kalyan for this mass entertainer, also starring Sree Leela. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie will be released in 2025. ## Game Changer - The highly-awaited political action thriller, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, and director by Shankar, the movie has been in production for a long time. It is expected to hit big screens in the last quarter of 2024. ## Family Star - Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur come together for the first time to headline director Parasuram's family drama film. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024. ## Bad Newz - Karan Johar's Dharma Production announced a comedy-drama starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk.
