The pre-production work on the movie is going on at a brisk pace and the makers are on track to start the shoot in January end or February. ## Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is likely to play the female lead opposite the "RRR" star. It is said that Janhvi has given her verbal nod, however, the paperwork is yet to be done. In case Janhvi doesn't come on board, the makers are likely to rope Rashmika Mandanna for the female lead role. ## Janhvi has been in the discussions for a long time and she himself had hinted about the same in his recent interviews. Hyderabad, December 14 - Tollywood superstar Ram Charan scored the biggest blockbuster of his career in the form of SS Rajamouli's "RRR", which also starred superstar Jr. NTR in the lead role. Since the release of "RRR", Ram Charan has been picking films that appeal at the Pan India level. ## Ram Charan is currently working on director Shankar's political action thriller film, tentatively titled RC15. The shoot of the movie is underway at a rapid pace. Apart from RC15, the superstar recently confirmed his maiden collaboration with "Uppena" director Buchi Babu Sana for his 16th film. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the "Rangasthalam" actor has also confirmed his next after Buchi Babu's movie. According to Peepingmoon.com, Charan would be teaming up with director Hanu Raghavapudi, who recently scored a blockbuster in the form of "Sita Ramam". ## It is said that Charan and Raghavapudi have had multiple meetings in the past few weeks, and they have agreed to collaborate on a fictional period drama. The yet-untitled film is touted to be a romantic entertainer with a dash of action and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. ## The report further said that "RC17" will be a two-hero film and will feature a big Tamil movie star alongside Ram Charan. RRR Becomes The Highest-Grossing Indian Film In Japan, Beats Rajinikanth's 'Muthu'

Tokyo, December 13 - Superstar Rajinikanth's "Muthu's" long-standing box office record has finally been broken as SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has become the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan. ## "RRR", starring Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan has completed its 8th week at the Japan box office and has grossed ¥410 million (Rs. 24.88 crores) with 271K footfalls so far, which is also the highest for an Indian film. It has outdone Rajinikanth's "Muthu's" which had grossed ¥400 million in 1998. ## The SS Rajamouli-directed "RRR" was released in Japan in October this year and scored the biggest opening weekend for an Indian movie there. Though the numbers of "RRR" weren't as high as the makers had predicted it maintain a steady run throughout and finally topped "Muthu's" record to become the new number one Indian grosser in Japan. ## "RRR" is looking to go past ¥500 million and it was originally predicated to have this number. The movie has found appreciation wherever it has been released so far and Japan is the latest market in that list. The worldwide gross total of the movie now stands at approx. 1140 crores, which is the 4th highest for an Indian movie of all time. ## Meanwhile, apart from its box office hunt, "RRR" is also making waves in international awards and has already won multiple awards of them. The superstar teamed up with Koratala Siva for his next, tentatively titled NTR 30, and it was supposed to start production in the summer of 2022.## The pre-production of NTR 30 has been going on for quite some time now, however, the debacle result of Siva's last directorial, "Acharya" made him extra cautious as he wanted to be fully sure with the script of NTR's film before kickstarting the shoot. It was recently when he locked the final script and even started music sitting with Anirudh. ## Now, according to the latest reports, NTR 30 will officially be launched in January while the regular shoot will kickstart in February 2023. The makers are also on the verge of locking the female lead in the film, and reportedly, a young Bollywood actress is the front-runner to grab the role in the Pan India movie. ## NTR 30 will be produced by NTR Arts, Yuvasudha Arts, and MSK Films. Hyderabad, November 30 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is not keen on doing a lot of remakes as he thinks that due to OTT platforms, the recall value of remakes has dropped. It has been seen in the recent box office performances where except for a couple of movies, remakes have failed badly across languages.## Ram Charan, who is currently shooting for director Shankar's political thriller film, recently produced "Godfather", starring Chiranjeevi. It was the remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam movie "Lucifer". The movie did decent business of little over 100 crores worldwide but that is mainly because of the star power of Chiranjeevi. ## "Godfather" was expected to do very well but because its dubbed version is already available on OTT, the movie couldn't give rich rewards to the makers. Ram Charan said during a recent interview that he is not keen on doing remakes and if he does, he would make sure that the original movie is not available in dubbed versions.## "I'm not sure I'd continue doing a lot of remakes. If I did a remake, I'd probably ask the original's producer not to release it on OTT. I might do a remake under those conditions. Otherwise, we'd all prefer to do original scripts in the future", he said.## Ram Charan, who headlined the multistarrer "RRR" directed by SS Rajamouli, recently confirmed his next film after Shankar's "RC15". Adivi Sesh's 'Hit 2' Pre-Release Business Details And Break-Even Target

Hyderabad, November 27 - Adivi Sesh's crime thriller Hit: The Second Case, which is the sequel to 2020's "Hit" movie, is one week away from its release in theaters. The trailer of the movie was recently launched and it received an anonymously positive response from the audience. ## Adivi Sesh's box office market has widened since after his last film Major, which was a big blockbuster. The makers have high expectations from his upcoming movie, and hence, the pre-release business of the movie is locked in a record price for Sesh. ## According to Telugu media reports, the theatrical rights of the movie in Telugu states have been sold in approx. 15 crores while the rest of India and overseas rights have been valued at approx. 3 crores. The movie will need to collect more than 18 crores to achieve the break-even target and earn a hit status. ## The aforementioned numbers are big for a tier-2 actor but keeping the recent box office track record of Adivi Sesh's films + the sequel factor of a hit movie, it should be an easy target for "Hit 2" if the talks are positive, which is very much expected. The movie will not have any major competition at the box office for two weeks and that should be enough for it to reach its target.## "Hit 2" is directed by Sailesh Kolanu who also directed the first film as well as the Hindi remake of it.
