Hyderabad, November 7 - The anticipation is shooting up for the release of Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is scheduled to release on December 22nd and the makers are scaling up the promotional activities. ## According to the reports, Hombale Films is planning to set up massive cutouts of Prabhas' character in Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities to promote the film in Hindi in the coming days. The team is also planning to unveil new posters to reveal the distributors of the film in all areas. ## The trailer of the film has been one of the most eagerly anticipated. According to the latest reports in Telugu media, the trailer of "Salaar" is expected to be out in the first week of December, most likely on December 1st. It will be a jungle adventure film, to be made on a global standard by keeping the Indian touch to it. ## The expectations from SSMB 29 are sky-high after the massive worldwide success of "RRR". According to the report, SSR is in talks with Disney and Sony to partner on this feature film with the idea of taking the content to the remotest corners of the world. Prithviraj is also playing a prominent role in the film which is headlined by superstar Prabhas. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, "Salaar" has been in production for a long time and after a couple of postponements, the film is finally releasing on December 22 this year in multiple languages. Hyderabad, October 30 - Veteran Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed the hattrick of 100 crores grosser at the worldwide box office with his latest action drama Bhagavanth Kesari. Earlier, "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" achieved this feat. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Bhagavanth Kesari has crossed the 100 crores gross mark as I type this (in 12 days) and becomes the 6th Telugu movie of the year to do so. The movie scored approximately 99 crores gross through the second Sunday (11 days) and is expected to be around 101 crores at the end of the second Monday. ## "Bhagavanth Kesari" has minted approximately 86 crores gross at the Indian box office and an estimated 13 crores overseas through second Sunday. Interestingly, Balakrishna has only three films in the 100 crores gross club worldwide and all three films have come back-to-back in the last two years.## "Akhanda", directed by Boyapati Srinu, was the first movie of the actor to hit the century mark globally in 2021, while director Gopichand Malineni's "Veera Simha Reddy" reached the milestone earlier this year and is currently the actor's highest-grossing film with approximately 130 crores. ## The latest hit has scored approximately 76.75 crores gross in Telugu states, followed by approx. 7.50 crores in Karnataka, approx. 80 lakh in Tamil Nadu, approx. 10 lakh in Kerala and around 70 lakh in the rest of India.## Stay tuned...

Hyderabad, October 25 - Superstar Prabhas' action drama film Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is one of the most-awaited Pan-Indian films and his collaboration with director Prashanth Neel is doing wonders for the movie in the trade. ## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" was supposed to be released on September 28, 2023, before it was pushed to December 22, 2023, worldwide. Prabhas is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu and this is leading to huge pre-release business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ## According to a report in Track Tollywood, the theatrical rights of the film are sold at a whopping 165 crores approximately in the two Telugu states, which is the second highest ever after SS Rajamouli's "RRR". "Salaar" is only the third film to get sold for 150+ crores in AP-TG, after "Baahubali 2" and "RRR". ## Mythri Movie Makers has reportedly bought the theatrical rights of the film for the Nizam area for approximately 65 crores. Ceded rights sold for approx. 27 crores while rights for Uttarandhra have been sold at 20 crores and 14 crores have come from the deal of East Godavari rights. Guntur and Nellore rights have been locked at 12 crores and 6 crores, respectively while the rest of the areas' rights are being said to be done in the range of 20 crores. ## "Salaar" will need to score over 200 crores gross in order to break even and emerge as a box office hit. The movie is releasing during the holiday period of Christmas and if it manages to get a positive reception, the New Year period will boost the collection. Directed by Vamsee, TNR is easily the biggest film in Ravi Teja's career in terms of scale and budget, leading to huge expectations in trade.## "Tiger Nageswara Rao" worldwide theatrical business has been locked at the biggest ever for the actor. TNR's pre-release theatrical business has been valued at approximately 37 crores worldwide, including 31 crores for the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). ## The AP/TG theatrical business of 31 crores of TNR, includes approximately 8.50 crores for the Nizam area and 5.50 crores for Ceded. The entire Andhra rights are valued at 17 crores while the rest of India business is done at 4 crores. The overseas business of the film is around 3 crores.## TNR will need to score approximately 38 crores share collection or over 60 crores gross at the worldwide box office to break even and emerge as a clean hit. NBK is coming after two back-to-back big hits in the form of "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" which are also his only two films to cross the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office. Anil Ravipudi too has proved his mettle with films like "Sarileru Neekevvaru" and "F2 & F3", so the combo of the actor and director is working well in the trade. ## The upcoming movie, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 19, is among the top movies of NBK in terms of the pre-release theatrical business. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for "Pushpa 2", and he will next be reuniting with Trivikram Srinivas and then also has an announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
