Director Maruthi Gives Big Update On His Film With Superstar Prabhas

Hyderabad, December 29 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has a much-needed success at the box office in the form of "Salaar: Ceasefire", and the actor will next be seen in a variety of different films over the next couple of years.

Prabhas has multiple films in the pipeline, and one of them is a film with director Maruthi which will present the superstar in a completely new avatar from what he has been doing for the last many years. On Friday (December 29), Maruthi delighted the fans by sharing a big update on his film with the "Baahubali" star.



The shoot of the Prabhas-Maruthi film is ongoing, and the director revealed that the first look title poster of the same will be unveiled on the occasion of Sankranthi/Pongal 2024. The colourful pre-look poster gives a glimpse into Prabhas' charming avatar, donning slightly long hair.

According to reports, it is a horror-comedy film, also featuring Malavika Mohanan, Sanjay Dutt, and Niddhi Agerwal in prominent roles. People Media Factory has produced this film, which will likely be released only in Telugu languages in 2024.

Meanwhile, Prabhas' next is likely to be "Kalki 2898 AD" with director Nag Ashwin. The sci-fi epic is one of the biggest Indian films of 2024 and it is touted to be a game-changer for Indian cinema. Inspired by Hindu mythology, the movie also has Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in prominent roles.
