Fans Urge Marvel Studios To Bring Tony Stark Back To Life

Los Angeles, April 23, 2021: Tony Stark aka Iron Man has been one of the most favorite and iconic characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) among fans all over the world. And fittingly, Iron Man received a well-deserved heroic farewell after his 11 years of the cinematic journey came to an end in "Avengers: Endgame", which had its worldwide premiere two years ago. ## While the "Avengers: Endgame" ending, which saw Tony Stark aka Iron Man got killed in order to save the world, satisfied most of the Marvel fans, it clearly didn't satisfy all of them. A group of anonymous fans has paid to put up a billboard in Los Angeles that pleads Marvel Studios to revive their beloved hero, essayed by Robert Downey Jr.## "Fans have put up a billboard in LA urging Marvel Studios to bring Tony Stark back to life", @CultureCrave posted on Twitter. ## Fans have put up a billboard in LA urging Marvel Studios to bring Tony Stark back to life pic.twitter.com/7zeg3OZZXb— Culture Crave 🍿 (@CultureCrave) April 22, 2021 ## However, despite all the efforts by fans, Marvel doesn't have any plan to bring Downey Jr. back into the screens again as Iron Man. Downey Jr. had also said in an interview that, "I had an incredible 10-year run that was creatively satisfying. I've done all I could with that character and can do other things now. Now, being middle-aged, you start looking at the back nine and realize this is all part of the journey, and things end. I am fortunate and eternally grateful to have wound up where I have". ## Meanwhile, even without Iron Man, Marvel has everything to give the best cinematic experience to its fans with a vast lineup of superhero movies. With films like "Black Widow" and Disney Plus series like "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" kicking off the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, follows by Spider-Man: No Way Home, Shang Chi, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and many more, Marvel is gearing up to amaze fans. ## Stay tuned...

Disney Bags The Streaming Rights To Sony Pictures Films After Netflix Window Expires

After the historic deal with Netflix earlier this month, Sony Pictures has now inked another landmark deal with Disney, which will allow the platform to stream Sony's films on its streaming and TV platforms. ## The new deal, which will cover Sony's entire theatrical slate from 2022-26, will bring the films to Disney-owned streaming services Disney+ and Hulu, as well as to Disney's linear TV networks, including ABC, Disney Channels, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic.## However, as per Sony's earlier deal, Netflix will have the right to stream Sony pictures first after they completed their theatrical run. And once the first pay window deal (which usually comes 18 months after a film hits theaters) with Netflix expires, the new deal will see Sony's titles hit Disney platforms for their Pay 2 windows.## Read - Netflix Acquires Streaming Rights To Sony Feature Films Starting In 2022 In US## The library titles include films from Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters, such as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as well as films from the Hotel Transylvania and Jumanji franchises. Sony's upcoming 2022 slate includes Morbius, Uncharted, Bullet Train, and the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. ## Disney has been the streaming home for almost the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, except the Spider-Man films such as Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, which are currently not available at Disney's service. After the upcoming Netflix window expires, those films would be in play for Disney Plus. ## Stay tuned...

Ezra Miller's 'The Flash' Begins Production, Michael Keaton To Return As Batman In The DC Superhero Film

Michael Keaton has been confirmed to return as Batman in the upcoming DC superhero film, "The Flash" which has started production in London on Monday (April 19). Keaton will be returning as Batman nearly after 30 years to appear alongside Ezra Miller in Warner Bros' long-awaited film. ## The production start of "The Flash" comes after over six years since the Ezra Miller-led superhero film was first announced in 2014. Andy Muschietti is directing the project with sister Barbara Muschietti serving as a producer through their recently formed production company Double Dream. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 4, 2022.## Keaton's arrival as Batman is massive news for the DC fans. However, the actor recently raised the eyebrows of his fans when he hinted in an interview with Deadline that he might not do "The Flash" because of his concerns about the COVID-19 situation in the UK. ## "To be honest with you, you know what worries me more than anything about all this stuff? It's COVID. I'm more concerned. I keep my eye more on the COVID situation in the UK than anything. That will determine everything, and so that's why I'm living outside the city here on 17 acres, staying away from everybody, because the COVID thing has got me really concerned. So, that's my first thing about all projects", Keaton has said. ## Keaton first played Batman in Tim Burton's 1989 blockbuster of the same name before making his final appearance in 1992's "Batman Returns". And now, after nearly 30 years, we will finally get to see Keaton's version of Batman since we last show him. Interestingly, Ben Affleck will also be reprising his version of Bruce Wayne/Batman for the film, "The Flash". ## The story of "The Flash" sees Ezra Miller as Barry Allen travel back in time to prevent the death of his mother. The result? Allen inadvertently creates another universe protected by Keaton's Batman, now 30 years older. It stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, alongside Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston. ## Stay tuned...

Actor Alfred Molina To Return As Doctor Octopus In Upcoming 'Spider-Man' Film

Los Angeles, April 17, 2021, Hollywood actor Alfred Molina is all set to return to the upcoming Spider-Man movie after 17-years. The actor confirmed that he will be seen in "Spider-Man: No Way Home", reprising his iconic character of Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus.## "When we were shooting it, we were all under orders not to talk about it, because it was supposed to be some great big secret. But, you know, it's all over the internet. I actually described myself as the worst kept secret in Hollywood!" Molina told Variety.## "It was wonderful (about his role). It was very interesting going back after 17 years to play the same role, given that in the intervening years, I now have two chins, a wattle, crow's feet, and a slightly dodgy lower back", he added. ## Molina played Otto Octavius in Sam Raimi's 2004 global blockbuster "Spider-Man 2", starring Tobey Maguire as the Spider-Man. Amazon Prime Video's 'The Rings of Power' First Season Cost A Whopping $462 Million

Mumbai, February 11 - Amazon Prime Video has spent millions of dollars for the upcoming epic fantasy adventure The Lord of the Rings series, titled "The Rings of Power". The company bought the television rights for series for a whopping US$250 million in November 2017, making a five-season production commitment worth at least US$1 billion. ## Now, it is reported that the first season of "The Rings of Power" TV show will cost the retail giant an unimaginable over $462 million to produce, making it one of the costliest series ever made. ## In April last year, New Zealand's minister for economic development and tourism revealed that the fantasy drama will be one of the most costly television series ever made, with its season one price tag coming in at around $465 million.## With this kind of price, it is likly the highest amount ever spent for a single season of any TV series. For comparison, HBO's "Game of Thrones" cost around $100 million per season. Season one episodes cost around $6 million each and eventually rose to around $15 million by season eight.## Among the other top productions, Disney spent around "100 million" on the first season of The Mandalorian. Marvel's "Wanda Vision" to cost Disney around US$25 million per episode and nine episodes comprise max at US$225 million. But none is as big as Amazon's "The Lord of the Rings".## "The Rings of Power" series is developed by J. D. Payne, and Patrick McKay based on "The Lord of The Rings" stories by J. R. R. Tolkien. The series, set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, begins during a time of relative peace and covers all of the major events from the Second Age of Middle-earth: the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the story of the island kingdom of Númenor, and the last alliance between Elves and Men.## It stars Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Maxim Baldry, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Charles Edwards, among others in prominent roles. John Cena On Action In Fast & Furious, 'It Is Not Senseless'

WWE champion and Hollywood star, John Cena is the latest addition to the ninth main installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. The 43-year-old star will be seen playing the character of Jacob Toretto, brother of Dominic Toretto played by Vin Diesel. ## Cena will be seen performing high octane action scenes in the Justin Lin directorial which is the sequel to The Fate of the Furious (2017). He admits being aware he is getting the opportunity to be a part of a legacy body of work and adds that the franchise is not senseless action.## "I love the perspective of F9, of Dom (Dominic Toretto) having to face Jacob, his blood family. Someone that has been forgotten and long lost. I have to be equal to Dom or greater than Dom to be challenging, to let the viewer get to the edge of their seat and get knocked back in their chair." "But what I love about the franchise is that it is not senseless action for the sake of action. It will deliver", Cena told select media globally, during the trailer launch on Wednesday. ## Speaking about the upcoming installment, Cena said, "Now we get to dive into the concept of, yes, we can choose who we love and we can choose who we are close to, and call them family, even if they don't share our last name. We cannot run away from our past and choices".## "Sooner or later, if we have any regrets, if we have any second thoughts, and if we have any self-doubt we have to look into that glass and face it and that's what I love about the power and gravity of this. This movie delivers on so many fronts, the trailer leaves so much meat on the bone and that's what I am really excited about," Cena added.## F9 was originally scheduled for worldwide release in April 2019 but was delayed several times, first due to the releases of Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and No Time to Die (2021), and then the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now officially scheduled to the world premiere in South Korea on May 19, 2021, and is set to be released in the United States on June 25, 2021.## In India, the movie will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages in June. ## Stay tuned...

Netflix Acquires Streaming Rights To Sony Feature Films Starting In 2022 In US

The leading streaming giant, Netflix has grabbed gold by signing a new multiyear deal with Sony Pictures. According to the contract, Netflix will be the first to stream Sony Feature Films beginning from 2022 after they complete their theatrical run in the USA. These films include Uncharted, Morbius, Bullet Train & Where The Crawdads Sing, along with future sequels to Venom, Jumanji, Bad Boys & Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse.## Sony Pictures' primary pay-TV partner has been Starz, now owned by Lionsgate, since 2006. The new theatrical output deal with Netflix is believed to run about five years and is said to have worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the studio over the term. Industry sources said (according to Variety) Sony executives are working on another significant theatrical movie licensing pact outside the Netflix agreement.## Netflix is an obvious first pay window choice for Sony, given that the company already has a deal for its animated releases with Netflix. But the new deal is far more comprehensive and will see Sony's theatrical films from its Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Classics, Screen Gems, and TriStar Pictures studios all head to Netflix after completing their theatrical run. ## Starting in 2022, Netflix will be the first US streaming home for Sony Pictures films following their theatrical releases. Get ready for UNCHARTED, MORBIUS, BULLET TRAIN & WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING, plus future sequels to VENOM, JUMANJI, BAD BOYS & SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE— NetflixFilm (@NetflixFilm) April 8, 2021 ## The new deal will also provide Netflix a first look at any of Sony's original movies produced for the direct-to-streaming market. But it doesn't stop Sony from selling direct-to-streaming titles to Netflix's rivals. In that case, however, Netflix would have to pass on the project for Sony to be able to sell it to another streamer.## "Netflix has been a terrific partner as we continue to expand our relationship. At Sony Pictures, we produce some of the biggest blockbusters and the most creative, original films in the industry. This exciting agreement further demonstrates the importance of that content to our distribution partners as they grow their audiences and deliver the very best in entertainment", said Keith Le Goy, SPE's president of worldwide distribution and networks, in a statement. ## Meanwhile, the new deal between Sony and Netflix won't include "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" because they release this year. ## Stay tuned...

South Korean boy band BTS has condemned the recent surge in anti-Asian violence and hatred and shared their experiences of the racism they have faced. They have issued a statement on the same saying they stand against racial discrimination. ## The Grammy-nominated singers, who were recently subjected to racial slurs by a German RJ who compared them to the COVID-19 pandemic, penned a strongly-worded note condemning the acts of violence.## "We send our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones", reads the statement, which was published both in Korean and English on BTS official Twitter handles. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English".## "We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason. Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks.
