Tom Holland's Next Action Adventure 'Uncharted' Confirms India Release Date

Mumbai, December 24 - Sony Pictures has released the second trailer of Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg's action-adventure "Uncharted". The movie serves as an origin story and prequel to the video games of the same name created by Naughty Dog. It stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan, along with Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas in supporting roles.## Directed by Ruben Fleischer, "Uncharted" will be released on 18 February 2022 in theaters. Sony has been a supporter of an exclusive theatrical release and continues to do despite the scare of the new covid-19 variant. The studio has also confirmed the Indian release of the film in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on Feb. 18. ## ## Interestingly, "Uncharted" entered development many moons back in 2008, with film producer Avi Arad stating that he would be working with Sony Pictures to develop a film adaptation of Uncharted. However, the movie kept delayed due to the complicated production process. Dr. Strange opened the multiverse during "No Way Home", despite the warning by Benedict Wong's Sorcerer Supreme about its dangerous result, and released villains from other universes into the MCU.## When things started getting out of control, Dr. Strange approaches Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch to seek her help to restore the multiverse to what it was before he opened it. Scarlet Witch, meanwhile, thinks he is there to punish her for the events of WandaVision. However, it isn't the case as he asks her what she knows about the multiverse?## One of the last footage of the 2 minutes 11 seconds of the teaser shows one of the versions of Dr. Strange is dangerous, as he is told that "the greatest threat to our universe is you", the smiling darker version of Strange concluded by saying, "things just got out of hands".## ## "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" recently went through reshoots over the course of six weeks in Los Angeles and through the end of 2021. The opening weekend of "No Way Home" is currently heading for a legendary $200M-$225M, as per the local trades.## According to trade expert Gitesh Pandya, 10% of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" Thursday gross in North America came from IMAX screens - $5.1M. With the release of Allu Arjun's keenly awaited "Pushpa - The Rise" on Friday, "No Way Home" faced tough competition, especially in the South.
