Chris Hemsworth's 'Thor: Love and Thunder' Run Time Is Shorter Than Expected

Mumbai, June 13 - Marvel Studios is ready for its next blockbuster feature film in the form of Chris Hemsworth's Thor: Love And Thunder. The movie, directed by Taika Waititi, is slated to release on July 8 in the USA while it will debut in Indian theaters a day earlier on July 7 in multiple languages. ## While the excitement for this superhero movie is high, the runtime of "Thor 4" might get criticism as it is reportedly shorter than expected. The recently released "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" was just 2 hours 6 minutes. Even though the film has had a blockbuster run at the box office, it received criticism for the length as audiences felt it should have been longer. ## "Thor Love and Thunder's" reported run time is very much in the range of "Doctor Strange 2". As per MCU Direct, the movie's run time is between 1 hour, 55 minutes, and 2 hours, 20 minutes - a range that could be the difference between disappointment and excitement.## As per the same report, the world's two largest theater chains, AMC and Cineworld, listed the runtime for "Thor: Love and Thunder" at 1 hour and 59 minutes. It is very much the official run time of the movie, which makes it the 7th-shortest Marvel Studios movie yet.## Interestingly, Thor movies have always been on the shorter side with only one movie from the first three Thor movies, ran over two hours. "Thor: Ragnarok" run time was 2 hours, 10 minutes and it is the biggest Thor movie. The first movie was just 1 hour, 55 minutes while "Thor: The Dark World" was even shorter with a run time of 1 hour, 52 minutes. ## "Thor 4" is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019). Thor attempts to find inner peace but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster—who has become the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods. It stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman.## Stay tuned...

'Deadpool 3' Will Keep The Same Tone As Previous Films, Says Writers

Los Angeles, June 8 - Disney may have been offering family-friendly films but its upcoming Marvel movie, "Deadpool 3", is going to be as tough as the previous two Deadpool films. ## The third installment of the "Deadpool" franchise will be the first made under Disney, which acquired Fox in 2019 after Fox found immense success with two R-rated "Deadpool" movies. Since the movie landed under Disney, Fans have been wondering how a Disney-backed "Deadpool" will look as it is known to deliver family blockbusters. ## Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who are currently writing "Deadpool 3", have assured fans that despite the franchise landing at Disney, the movie will not be Disney-fied and it will keep the same tone as the previous two films. "It's these [Disney] people and these people do things their way", Reese recently told The Playlist (via Variety). ## "We were used to doing things our way, so there are differences, but I think the great part is that Marvel’s been incredibly supportive. They are gonna let Deadpool be Deadpool, you know? It's not like any particular joke may be the one that they say, 'You know, that's too far, that could happen, but to this point, it's been nothing but support", he added.## "We're gonna let Deadpool be Deadpool. We're not... this is not going to be the Disney-fied Deadpool", Reese added. When asked if the "Deadpool" franchise will remain rated R with the upcoming third movie, Reese responded, "Oh, absolutely. They're not gonna mess with the tone. I mean, I'd never say never, I guess there's an outside chance, but we've always been told it can be R-[rated] and we're proceeding as if it's R". ## Starring Ryan Reynolds in the title role, both "Deadpool" movies, released in 2016 and 2018, grossed $782 million and $785 million worldwide, respectively. These are the top-grossing "X-Men" films of all time. "Deadpool 3" is yet to start production and there is no release date set as of now. ## Stay tuned...

Amber Heard Can't Afford To Pay $10M To Johnny Depp, Says Her lawyer

Los Angeles, June 4 - The long legal battle between Johnny Depp and her ex-wife Amber Heard finally came to a conclusion in favor of Depp. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had filed a defamation lawsuit against Heard for her 2018 Washington Post op-ed. ## The Virginia jury found that the article by Heard defamed Depp and ordered her to pay $10 million in compensatory damages. However, Amber's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft told 'Today' that the actress can't afford to pay such a huge sum to Depp. ## When asked by 'Today' if Heard would be able to afford the $10 million in damages that she's being ordered to pay, Bredehoft answered bluntly, "Oh no. Absolutely not". Bredehoft added that Depp's legal team worked to "demonise" Heard and was able to suppress "an enormous amount of evidence" in the defamation trial.## "A number of things were allowed in this court that should not have been allowed, and it caused the jury to be confused", Bredehoft added. "And the court found there, and we weren't allowed to tell the jury this, but the court found that Mr. Depp had committed at least 12 acts of domestic violence, including sexual violence against Amber".## Amber Heard has countered Depp for $100 million. While she lost most of the arguments, the jury awarded her $2 million after it found one statement by Depp defamatory against her. Bredehoft said that Heard wants to appeal the verdict.## Stay tuned...
