Chennai, June 3 - The long-awaited Tamil action drama film, "Vikram", starring legendary Kamal Haasan, finally hit screens today, June 3rd. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles with Suriya making a cameo appearance. ## The film revolves around two siblings: one is a gangster and the other, a politician. They both kidnap a high-ranking government official and trap him in their own prison. The actor is now making waves for his cameo role in legendary Kamal Haasan's "Vikram", which is slated to hit screens on June 3rd. Kamal Haasan has played the title role alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. ## Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Vikram" will feature Suriya in an important cameo and his role is said to paving a way for the film's sequel. Kamal Haasan has already confirmed that whenever Vikram sequel will be made, Suriya will be playing the lead role and the movie will also be produced by his home banner Raaj Kamal Films. ## Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has confirmed one more film with Suriya under his home banner. After scoring his first 100 crores grosser in the form of Doctor in October last year, Siva has done it again, and this time with much more ease. ## Directed by debutante Cibi Chakaravarthi, "Don" has so far grossed approx. 105 crores worldwide through the third Saturday. The coming-of-age romantic comedy breached the 100 crores gross mark in just two weeks which also took it past "Doctor" to become the biggest grosser for Siva. "Doctor" had grossed a little over 100 crores worldwide. ## "Don" is a big hit in the home state Tamil Nadu as it has grossed approx. 67 crores in the state through 3rd Friday. It is among the biggest grosser in Tamil Nadu this year with "Beast", "Valimai", "KGF Chapter 2", and "RRR". Chennai, May 28 - Legendary Kamal Haasan's long-awaited Vikram is finally releasing this Friday and the makers are readying for the big day. Raaj Kamal Films International, the production house headed by Kamal Haasan, has warned websites against pirating the movie and is on high alert to stop such development. ## The Madras High Court restricted Internet Service Providers (ISP) and over 1000 websites from unauthorized screening or copying of "Vikram", and now, RKFI has communicated to all the Internet Service Providers and sites that stringent legal action would be taken if the movie is copied or transmitted.## Madras High Court judge, Justice Saravanan had, on a petition filed by R. Murali Krishnan of Raaj Kamal Films International, restrained 29 ISPs including BSNL, Vodafone idea, Airtel, and Reliance Jio, and 1308 websites from unauthorized copying or transmission of "Vikram", the complete movie or in parts.## "Vikram" is one of the most awaited movies of 2022 and RKFI is worried that if the movie is copied or reproduced, it would amount to major financial losses. The movie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by RKFI. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles while Suriya has played a cameo role. Directed by debutante Cibi Chakaravarthi, "Don" has proved the ever-growing fan following of Sivakarthikeyan, who has become a new sensation in the Tamil cinema. ## Produced by Lyca Productions, and Sivakarthikeyan Productions, "Don" scored Rs. 65.55 crores worldwide in the first week, which is the highest ever for Siva's movie. Domestically, the coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama film has grossed Rs. 52.55 crores, including Rs. 4.41 crores in Chennai city alone. ## "Don" took the opening of Rs. 9.30 crores net, biggest for Siva.
