Karthik Sivakumar's 'Sardar' To Be Released On Diwali 2022

Chennai, May 24 - Tamil star Karthik Sivakumar will be in the action with three films releasing this year. He recently announced the release date of his rural comedy-drama film "Viruman" and the magnum opus "Ponniyin Selvan", and now, the actor has confirmed the arrival of his next, titled "Sardar".

On Tuesday (May 24), Karthi took to Twitter and announced the release of "Sardar" with his second look from the movie. Calling the movie his ambitious project, the film will be hitting theaters worldwide on the occasion of Diwali this year. In the new look poster, the actor is seen in the police uniform.

"Sardar", directed by PS Mithran, is an action-thriller film that will see the actor playing a dual role of a father and son. Raashii Khanna has been roped in to play the female lead along with Rajisha Vijayan, and Simran in a prominent role. S.Lakshman Kumar has produced the film under the banner of Prince Pictures.
