Amateur wrestling fans were in for a treat this week as Gable Steveson, the highly-touted WWE signee, returned to the mat for the US Men’s Freestyle Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. ## With an impressive display of dominance, Steveson outscored his opponents 44-1, earning four separate victories and advancing to the Final X in Newark, NJ, which takes place next month. In his semi-final bout, he faced off against fellow standout wrestler Mason Parris, whom he bested with a commanding score of 12-1. ## Steveson, who won an Olympic gold medal in Tokyo last year, has made it known that he is eager to represent Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games.
