Update Regarding Roman Reigns’ Schedule For This Summer

As noted, Reigns recently signed a new deal that will reportedly see him work less WWE dates moving forward. ## Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the unified champion is only slated for one episode of Raw over the next few months. Meltzer noted that The only time Reigns is going to be on Raw is the Raw from Madison Square Garden. That’s his only Raw booking, the only time the champion will be on Raw pretty much the whole summer. ## WrestleVotes recently reported that the WWE Championship and Universal Championship were unified with the understanding that Reigns would be appearing on both Raw and SmackDown more regularly. Obviously, that has not been happening. ## Reigns hasn't wrestled since the 5/22 House Show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Going forward, he would wrestle in very few house shows and about 6 pay-per-view events per year. Bray Wyatt is posting a never-before-seen backstage photo of The Wyatt Family and Roman Reigns. ## Bray Wyatt AKA Windham Rotunda) recently posted a backstage photo alongside his former stablemates, and Roman Reigns posing in the background. ## Wyatt was nice enough to share a never-before-seen photo via Instagram. The photo undoubtedly made him smile and judging by the reactions of many wrestlers and fans, it had an effect on him alike. ## "I just found this picture. I didn’t know I had it, but it really made me smile. I hope it does the same for some of you. #goodbyeforever," he gave the caption. ## One can assume that the photo was taken sometime in 2019 when Wyatt introduced The Fiend personality on WWE TV. Also, this was around the time that Lee and Rowan were in a brief rivalry with Reigns and Brian Danielson. At the 2019 Hell in a Cell, Reigns & Danielson defeated Rowan & Lee in a Tornado Tag Team Match. Lee will be leaving WWE a few months later. ## Bray Wyatt was released from WWE in July 2021. NXT Championship Match Announced For NXT Great American Bash

The first match for the NXT Great American Bash event has been revealed! ## During tonight's episode of NXT 2.0, it was announced that Bron Breakker would be defending his NXT Championship at the NXT Great American Bash. ## After the Breakker defeated Duke Hudson, he faced Cameron Grimes. Grimes raised his hand for an NXT Championship match at the Great American Bash, which Breakker accepted. ## Breakker is currently in his second reign with the WWE NXT Championship. He first became the champion at WWE NXT New Year's Evil and lost it to Dolph Ziggler 63 days later. ## His second reign began after he defeated Ziggler on the RAW after WrestleMania 38. Roman Reigns Update: Backstage News On Why WWE Unified Their Main Titles

There has been the latest update on why WWE unified their main titles, Roman Reigns working a lot less than anticipated. ## WrestleVotes reports that the WWE Championship and Universal Championship were unified with the understanding that Reigns would be appearing on both Raw and SmackDown more regularly. Obviously, that has not been happening. ## However, Reigns will be on the show this Friday night to defend his title against Matt Riddle. Reigns vs. Riddle was originally scheduled for the Money In The Bank show but Reigns is no longer scheduled to wrestle on that date. ## Reigns hasn't wrestled since the 5/22 House Show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Going forward, he would wrestle in very few house shows and about 6 pay-per-view events per year. ## Earlier today on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about Reigns and how he, and by extension, his WWE Undisputed Championship, have hardly been seen since Reigns signed a new deal for fewer dates earlier this year. Duke Hudson confronted him and mentioned how he has a win over Bron from when he beat him by DQ in May and challenged Bron for the NXT Title. Bron accepted. ## *Wes Lee defeated Xyon Quinn. ## *The Dyad (with Joe Gacy) defeated Javier Bernal and Dante Chen. Joe Gacy cut a promo after the match. ## *There was an in-ring segment involving Tony D’Angelo, Stacks, Two Dimes, Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams interrupted it and got into words. This week's WWE Raw edition took place at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, KS, and featured Theory/Bobby Lashley pose-down in the main event. ## Adam Pearce called this the first-ever Theory invitational pose-down. ## Pearce explained the rules. They each had to do three poses: double bicep, side chest, and most muscular. Theory tried to take the segment over but Pearce told him to start posing or else he’d disqualify him. Theory did his poses and Lashley sarcastically applauded. Lashley told him he’d beat him in the pose-down, beat him in the ring, and take the United States title. Lashley did his poses. ## Theory asked the crowd to cheer for the winner and they cheered for Lashley. ## Theory responded by squirting baby oil in Lashley’s face and eyes. Next week on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch will settle the score when she takes on Asuka in the Money In The Bank Qualifying match. ## For the second time in weeks, Becky Lynch quested for the 24/7 Championship against Dana Brooke. However, The match didn’t happen. Both women made their regular entrances but Lynch attacked Brooke before the bell could ring. That led to “Becky” chants. Lynch drove Brooke into the barricade before stomping her head into the announce table. ## Lynch said this never about Brooke’s little 24/7 championship and told her, “you can keep that.” ## Lynch was pissed about how she’s been treated. Lynch also recalled that the last time she was in a MITB match she was cheated and robbed. She said things would be different this year. ## She was about to attack Brooke again but Asuka made the save. Despite the injury, The American Nightmare fought through the pain in a gutsy, heroic performance and somehow defeated Seth "Freakin" Rollins at WWE Hell in a Cell. ## Tonight on WWE Raw, Seth "Freakin" Rollins answered for his attack on Cody Rhodes.
