WWE NXT Stars Bron Breakker And Cora Jade Set For Imminent Main Roster Promotion Ahead Of WWE Draft

According to reports from PWInsider, it appears that two highly regarded individuals from the WWE NXT brand, Bron Breakker and Cora Jade, are slated to receive a promotion to the main roster imminently, potentially as early as tomorrow's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. ## It should be noted, however, that their appearance on the show is not guaranteed, as rumors regarding their promotion have been circulating for some time, and the company has been known to keep certain individuals on NXT to conclude ongoing storylines even after their promotion. ## Bron Breakker, who has recently undergone a transformation into a villainous persona, is reportedly in line for a rematch against current NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. Meanwhile, Cora Jade's recent match on WWE Main Event, which was recorded prior to Raw, has earned her high praise and further fueled speculation regarding her imminent promotion. ## According to Bryan Alvarez, the promotion of several individuals that had been scheduled to occur on the Raw immediately following WrestleMania has been delayed until the upcoming WWE Draft. As such, it seems that the time has finally come for Breakker and Jade to make their highly anticipated leap to the main roster. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Vince McMahon's Shifting Plans Leave WWE Universe On Edge For Night Of Champions' New World Heavyweight Champion

The highly anticipated Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia, where a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned, is just a month away. Although Seth Rollins appears to be the frontrunner for the title, a reliable source from the WWE creative team has informed Ringside News that nothing is set in stone, as the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon, has the authority to alter plans at any time. ## The source revealed that the leading candidate for the championship will be the one who ultimately secures the title when Vince McMahon finalizes his decision. With plenty of time remaining until the Night of Champions, there is still a great deal of uncertainty regarding who will be crowned the new champion. ## The source made it clear that attempting to disclose spoilers for the event would be foolish at this juncture. Vince McMahon retains the power to change any aspect of the event, as he sees fit. However, it has been confirmed that the new title will be awarded to the brand that Roman Reigns is not on, following the 2023 WWE Draft. ## As Roman Reigns is an unstoppable champion, the introduction of a new title is being viewed as a means of obtaining a top championship for the other brand. Interestingly, Ringside News has reported that the USA Network is prioritizing the retention of Roman Reigns, rather than the establishment of a new title belt. ## This situation is quite intriguing, particularly with the omnipresent possibility of Vince McMahon's intervention. Given the enormity of the decision to crown a new champion, it is advisable not to assume that any particular plan is immutable. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Seth Rollins Poised To Make History As The First-Ever World Heavyweight Champion In WWE's Glittering Legacy?

According to the latest reports, Seth Rollins is poised to clinch the World Heavyweight Championship, marking a significant milestone in his WWE career. He unequivocally expressed his aspirations to secure the prestigious title soon after its much-anticipated reveal on the April 27th edition of Monday Night Raw. ## Sources indicate that Rollins is the leading contender to emerge victorious in the upcoming Night Of Champions event scheduled for May, where the coveted championship is up for grabs. ## As per reports from GiveMeSport via WrestleVotes, Rollins' ambition to claim the World Heavyweight Championship is firmly on course. While Cody Rhodes is also a formidable contender, he is currently intertwined in the ongoing Roman storyline, and it would make more sense for him to defeat Roman rather than claim the newly introduced title. WrestleVotes further emphasizes that giving the new title to Rhodes would neither serve the championship nor Rhodes' career well. ## Rollins is set to face Omos at Backlash, but his sights are firmly set on capturing the elusive championship unveiled by Triple H. Notably, this is the first new top title introduced by the company since the launch of the Undisputed Championship in 2016. ## The first winner of the coveted title will be determined through a rigorous tournament scheduled to take place on May 27th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the Night Of Champions Premium Live Event. All eyes are on Rollins as he endeavors to cement his legacy in WWE history by becoming the first-ever World Heavyweight Champion. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Spoiler Alert: NXT Standouts Set To Make Waves On SmackDown In Upcoming WWE Draft

According to recent reports, WWE officials are exceedingly fond of the tag team duo, Pretty Deadly, as they have been consistently pushed across multiple promotions, including NXT UK, NXT, and sporadic appearances on the main roster. ## The team has already clinched championship titles in both NXT UK and NXT during their career. In January of this year, they even participated in live events on the main roster, where they faced The New Day, the then-NXT Tag Team Champions, following their defeat to them at the NXT Deadline event held in December 2022. ## However, in the recent episode of WWE NXT, Pretty Deadly suffered a defeat in a Trunk Match against Tony D'Angelo and Stacks. The match concluded with Pretty Deadly being thrown into the trunk of a car and then subsequently being shown being tossed into a lake by their opponents, indicating that they had met an untimely fate by drowning in the water. ## According to sources, Pretty Deadly is expected to be present backstage during this week's episode of SmackDown, which coincides with the WWE Draft that will continue next Monday at Raw. It has been reported that the tag team is being considered alongside other names to be called up to the main roster. The events that have taken place in the recent episode of WWE NXT suggest that the team is a strong contender for the promotion, and their appearance at SmackDown reinforces this notion. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's WrestleMania 39 Match With Top WWE Star Derailed By TV Show Schedule

Despite the favorable reception of WWE WrestleMania 39 by numerous fans, a contingent of enthusiasts lamented the conspicuous absence of the legendary 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin from the event, particularly in the wake of his comeback to the ring at WWE WrestleMania 38. ## In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, the 'Texas Rattlesnake' disclosed that a definite proposition was in place for him to engage in a highly anticipated bout at WrestleMania 39 with one of the company's top-tier performers. However, the production schedule for his television program ultimately thwarted this potential clash of titans. ## "People have asked me, 'Why didn't do you do 'Mania?' They asked me, but I didn't know what my life was going to look like until I was done with this show. I finished up on the show four days before WrestleMania. I drove every single mile in an RV and I brought dumbbells with me, a sandbag and a kettle bell, so I got my workouts in. ## The concrete idea was a match. It was a match with one of the top guys in the business, period. I'll let everybody speculate about that, but yeah, it was a match and I just didn't think I could get ready for it in time because I didn't know my schedule, which is what I told them. 'I don't know what my life looks like until I finish this show.'" ## Special thanks to Bleacher Report & Graham Matthews for the quote(s). ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Mike Rome's WWE Tryout: A Chaotic Journey To Becoming Monday Night Raw's Top Ring Announcer

Mike Rome's journey to becoming the top ring announcer for WWE is nothing short of impressive. Despite having no prior experience in the field, he was able to impress the company's higher-ups with his natural charisma and quick thinking. ## During his WWE tryout, Rome faced a chaotic and unpredictable environment that would have left many aspiring announcers scrambling for words. However, he rose to the occasion, displaying a level of composure and professionalism that left a lasting impression on those in attendance. ## Rome's ability to think on his feet and deliver flawless announcements even in the midst of chaos is a testament to his remarkable talent and dedication to his craft. His rise to success within WWE serves as an inspiration to anyone looking to break into the industry and make their dreams a reality. ## “I remember it like it was yesterday. So when I finally got the call from a guy named Johnny Greco, he wears a lot of hats, he’s been everywhere. He’s in there and we’re doing this process and Greg is there, and they had me ring announce something. They gave me the stats ahead of time, you memorize them and you turn around… they give you a couple of seconds. We did a whole thing where I was [acting like] I was backstage, cause at the time in the PC, they’re doing classes in there so you’re doing your auditions when classes are in there and Triple H is working out in the room next door and he walks out and it’s like ‘Don’t mess up!’ It’s a crazy… during that time, it was kind of crazy because the PC was so small and it was whatever. ## So they grabbed… it was Bull Dempsey at the time and he came over and we did a backstage thing and I was supposed to talk to him about his thing with Tyler Breeze and they’re like ‘Hey, hey, you need to stall.’ So I’m like stalling, trying to ask him questions and then I go ‘Thank you for your time, back to you guys.’ It was that kind of stuff. We did an arena thing where I walked out and went ‘What’s up WWE universe, tonight you’re gonna see this, Intercontinental Championship is on the line, WWE Championship is on the line’ and then kind of putting over the audience before throwing to a video package. It’s stuff like that. I don’t know what the process is now, but that’s what it was when I did it.” ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

WWE NXT Women's Champion Indi Hartwell Battles Through Injury To Retain Title At NXT: Spring Breakin'

During tonight's main event at NXT: Spring Breakin', the WWE NXT Women's Champion, Indi Hartwell, suffered an injury. The incident occurred when Stratton dove off the top rope onto Hartwell and Roxanne Perez. Hartwell's body weight exerted pressure on her right ankle, leading to an immediate injury. ## A trainer/doctor rushed to check on Hartwell while the match continued, and it was evident that she was in pain. The match seemed to have been impacted by the injury, with several spots being changed as Hartwell received medical attention at ringside. Despite the setback, Hartwell returned to the match's final moments and managed to retain her title. ## However, it was clear that Hartwell was still in considerable pain when she re-entered the ring. It is hoped that the injury is not severe and that she will make a full recovery soon. Our best wishes go out to her during this challenging time. ## Indi Hartwell got injured here but still managed to come back and finish the match. #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/Gja88DuPD9— Wrestling News (@WrestlingNewsCo) April 26, 2023 ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

North American Title Match, More Set For 5/2 WWE NXT, Updated Lineup

Prepare for a night of electrifying action as WWE NXT announces a lineup of highly-anticipated bouts for their May 2 episode. The reigning NXT North American Champion, Wes Lee, will put his title on the line against the formidable Drew Gulak. ## Lee emerged victorious against Charlie Dempsey in his previous title defense, but Gulak has been hot on his heels, fueled by a burning desire to claim the championship. In what is sure to be a high-octane encounter, Tyler Bate has pledged his support for Lee, agreeing to be in his corner.## The fiery feud between former tag team partners, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, is set to take center stage once again. Jayne infamously sabotaged Dolin's shot at the NXT Women's Championship in a ladder match, igniting a personal vendetta that has been boiling over ever since. As tensions continue to escalate, Dolin has vowed to settle the score by bashing Jayne's face in, with her brother at ringside for support.## In another thrilling matchup, Joe Gacy and Joe Coffey will go head-to-head in a must-see bout with high stakes. A win for Gacy means that The Dyad, comprised of Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid, will get a chance to challenge the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions, Gallus, for their coveted titles. However, if Coffey prevails, The Dyad will be barred from ever challenging for the titles as long as the Gallus duo are champions. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

She even went as far as to suggest that Indi could return to wearing her "boo boo face." Tiffany stated confidently that it was her time to shine. ## Meanwhile, Duke Hudson questioned Andre about his plans for their upcoming match against Bron. Andre revealed that he was still collecting his thoughts, but Duke reminded him that it was time for action. He acknowledged Bron's animalistic and dominant nature, but reminded Andre of his role as a mentor and beacon to many students. Andre declared that he was ready to give Bron a beating that was as large as a Chase University campus. ## Andre Chase (with Duke Hudson) Vs Bron Breakker ## As the bell rings, Chase launches a flurry of punches and kicks towards Bron, who picks him up but Chase quickly gets back on his feet. Bron runs Chase into the turnbuckles and delivers a series of shoulder thrusts. With an Irish whip, Bron sends Chase to the opposite corner and charges at him with another shoulder. However, Chase retaliates with more punches and kicks before executing a textbook back drop on Bron. ## Bron gets back on his feet and charges at Chase with another Irish whip, but this time he misses his shoulder in the corner. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Chase dropkicks Bron into the turnbuckles and drops him onto the top rope. However, the referee intervenes and Lyra misses a spinning back heel kick. Cora clips Lyra's leg and hits a DDT for the three-count pinfall. ## WINNER: Cora Jade ## Grayson Waller makes his way to the backstage area. Shortly after, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams arrive as well. We cut to commercial break. ## After the break, we see Tony and Channing driving. Channing asks Tony if he hears anything suspicious, but Tony doesn't seem to notice anything. ## The two suddenly pull over and check the trunk of their car. They encounter Kit and Elton. Waller kicks Hayes again and lifts him onto his shoulders, but Hayes gets to his feet and sends Waller into the ropes. Hayes finishes with a kick to the back of the head and a successful Fadeaway. ## The match intensifies as Waller and Hayes exchange strikes and moves. Waller attempts a German suplex, but Hayes blocks it and hits him with a series of kicks to the leg. Hayes shows his agility with a springboard DDT, but Waller kicks out of the pin. Waller gains control with a sit-out powerbomb, but Hayes manages to kick out at the last moment. The momentum shifts again as Hayes hits Waller with a Codebreaker and sends him to the floor. ## Waller takes advantage of the outside environment and puts Hayes on the announce table. Waller climbs the turnbuckles and delivers an elbow drop, breaking the table in the process. The action returns to the ring, and Waller gets another near fall. However, his knee gives out during an attempted slingshot rolling cutter, giving Hayes an opening to hit him with Nothing but Net for the victory. Despite Waller's attempts to use a chair and the environment to his advantage, Hayes manages to come out on top with his athleticism and quick thinking. ## WINNER: Carmelo Hayes (retains championship) ## Following the match, Trick joins Hayes in the ring to celebrate their victory. Hayes brags about his success, saying he's wearing all black and chopping bodies left and right. He then calls out Bron Breakker, challenging him to a match at Battleground in his hometown. ## Hayes and Trick eagerly await Bron's arrival as his music plays, but when he enters the ring, he attacks Trick with a spear. Bron then slams Hayes down with a press power slam and puts Trick in the Steiner Recliner. In a shocking move, Bron spears Hayes through the wall, sending him crashing under the HBalKony. ## Later, Roxanne Perez shares her passion for WWE, saying she wears bows in her hair for the little girls in the crowd who dream of becoming wrestlers. She vows to win back the NXT Women's Championship not just for herself, but for all those little girls. The show then shifts to a recap of last week's events involving Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen 2.0, and Kiana James. ## Returning to the present, Joe Gacy stops Coffey and Ava to propose a fair match for The Dyad against Gallus. Coffey is skeptical but Gacy offers a deal: if he beats Coffey in a one-on-one match, The Dyad will get their tag title match. However, if Coffey wins, The Dyad will never get another shot while Gallus are the champions. The show ends with a flashback to when Hayes called out Bron, only to suffer a brutal attack at his hands. ## Brooks Jensen and Kiana James Vs Josh Briggs and Fallon Henley The match kicks off with a lock-up between the two men. Brooks fights back with a forearm and an Irish whip, followed by a splash into the corner. Major Changes Made To WWE Raw In Chicago, Female Talent Segments Cut And Match Finishes Altered

The wrestling world was abuzz with rumors and speculation after it was revealed that Vince McMahon, working remotely from home, made several significant changes to WWE Raw's broadcast from Chicago. ## According to PWInsider, McMahon altered finishes to multiple matches, making changes to both the build-up and the actual outcome of certain bouts. The match between The Street Profits and the team of Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin was reportedly added to the show after McMahon's revisions. ## However, the changes weren't limited to the in-ring action. The report also stated that "a number of segments" featuring female talent were cut from the show, including a planned backstage segment with Candice LeRae and Piper Niven. Another segment featuring Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville, and other female talent was reportedly scrapped to make more time for the six-woman tag team match with Damage CTRL. ## Interestingly, this isn't the first time that LeRae and Niven have been cut from a WWE broadcast at the last minute. They were also removed from the Raw after WrestleMania, a show which McMahon was also reportedly backstage for. Adding to the mystery, Tamina Snuka was spotted at Raw, leading some to speculate that she may have been involved in a segment that was ultimately cut. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
