Triple H Unveils Epic Plan To Crown A New World Heavyweight Champion At WWE Night of Champions
During the WWE Backlash press conference held in Puerto Rico, a major announcement was made by none other than Triple H, the legendary wrestler and executive of the WWE. He revealed that two thrilling Triple Threat Matches have been scheduled for the upcoming Monday Night Raw event, where the victors will clash in a grand finale later in the show. ## But that was not all. The same exhilarating format will also be applied to the upcoming SmackDown event, where the winners of their respective Triple Threat Matches will join the Raw champions at Night of Champions, all vying for the coveted title of World Heavyweight Champion. ## It was also revealed that the newly created championship belt will be exclusively for Raw, a strategic decision that arose from Roman Reigns' limited schedule, which hindered his ability to defend the Undisputed Universal Championship with greater frequency. ## As of now, the participants for these matches on both Raw and SmackDown have not yet been disclosed, adding a sense of anticipation and excitement among fans worldwide. ## "A few weeks ago, I introduced the world to the new World Heavyweight Championship. Since then, with Roman Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship being drafted to SmackDown, this world championship will now be the property of Monday Night Raw. But starting after Backlash, this Monday night on Raw, we will begin a world heavyweight championship tournament. It will be across both brands. On Monday Night Raw, there will be two triple threat matches, with the winners facing each other later that night to determine a winner for Monday Night Raw. That Friday on SmackDown, the same thing will happen. Two Triple Threat matches will take place. Those winners will face each other at the end of SmackDown to determine a winner there. Those two winners from Raw and SmackDown will then go on to Night of Champions, where one of them will be crowned the new World Heavyweight Champion," Triple H said. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
