Mumbai, February 3 - One of the keenly awaited films "Selfiee" starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi is set to go on floors by the end of this month according to Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta. In a recent chat to pinkvilla, Apoorva Mehta revealed this news.## Selfiee is a remake of a Malayalam hit Driving license fronted by Prithviraj with Sooraj Venjarammoodu. Selfiee was talk of the talk when it was officially announced due to the casting of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi.## Selfiee is being directed by Raj Mehta who earlier directed Akshay Kumar in Good news which was a very highly successful film of Akshay Kumar and till date remains one of his biggest grosser both in domestic and worldwide.## Selfiee is being produced by Indian media personality Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames, and Cape of Good Films. Mumbai, February 2 - Superstar Salman Khan to begin the shooting of The much-awaited sequel of a blockbuster franchise Tiger3 in New Delhi from February 14 according to reports. Salman and Katrina Kaif will be wrapping the last big outdoor schedule of the film in New Delhi from February 14 as the Omicron wave looks to subside across the country.## Reportedly, Salman and Katrina will mostly be traveling to Delhi on the 12th or 13th morning. YRF has done a commendable job in managing the shooting schedule of such a big film, and that too in the pandemic. Now, all eyes are on them to pull off this Delhi schedule with strict mandates.## Earlier, the team of Tiger3 was expected to begin the New Delhi schedule in January 2022 however due to a surge in omicron threat across the country, the shooting of the films had been postponed. Official: Amitabh Bachchan's Jhund To Release On 4th March 2022

Mumbai, February 2 - Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's Jhund directed by Nagraj Manjule was earlier scheduled to be released on the OTT platform. Before that the makers of Jhund were trying to bring the film to theaters, however, due to rising cases of the Covid19 pandemic, the film did not hit the screens.## But now the makers officially announced that the film will release in theaters on 4th March 2022. The makers have decided that they will either release Rama Rao On Duty on 25th March or on 15th April, depending on the Covid-19 and restrictions. ## The makers took their Twitter handle and shared an official statement to announce the release date. The makers of Rama Rao Duty wrote which you read as - “We love our film. At the same time, we have immense respect for other films. We slated Ramarao On Duty for release on 25th March 2022. Release Dates of Upcoming Indian Films

Mumbai, February 1 - The Covid19 trajectory is on the downward slope with a few circuits are also lifting the restrictions and all other circuits to follow this sooner than later. Due to the rising covid cases, the films were postponed earlier but now since the cases are falling fast, one can expect many official announcements about release dates. ## Yesterday was a big day for the industry as there were a plethora of official release dates being made and some of them were the most anticipated films. The long in making and hugely awaited RRR was the first one to announce the official date. Earlier the makers of RRR were trying to come either on 18th March or 28th April but now the date has been locked which is - 25th March 2022. ## The next big announcement was about Ajith Kumar's much-awaited action thriller Valimai which will hit the screens on 24th February 2022. The film will be released in multiple languages and the trailer for the same will be out in the next couple of weeks.## The next two major announcements were Megastar Chiranjeevi's and Kortala Siva's Acharya which is coming on 29th April coinciding with Eid 2022 weekend and Mahesh Babu and Parasuram directorial Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is slated to release on 12th May in summer Holidays.## Meanwhile, Prabhas-fronted Radhe Shyam will be released on March 11, while Akshay Kumar's Bachchan Pandey already booked March 18 release date coinciding with Holi 2022. Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak booked two release dates - February 25 or April 1st, one will be finalized in the next few days based on the covid scenario.## On the other hand, KGF: Chapter 2 is gearing up for Pan India release on April 14 and will clash with Aamir Khan-starrer Lal Singh Chaddha. Mumbai, January 30 - Pushpa: The Rise starring the Icon Star Allu Arjun has had become a Blockbuster in the dubbed Hindi version despite facing many opponents like Spiderman: No Way Home, 83 and the biggest of them all - The omicron virus which resulted in the closure of cinemas. ## The album of "Pushpa: The Rise" has become a chartbuster, to say the least. All the songs of the film have become a rage among music lovers due to the effective lyrics. Lyricist Raqueeb Alam, who penned the Hindi songs, says that he didn't expect them to become so popular even though he was aware of Bunny's fan following.## "There is a craze for him in the North. I know this quite well. In fact, my niece herself is a fan of his films. Even in remote areas, he is a brand. I, however, did not think the songs would become so big. Itni ummeed nahi thi," he told DH.## He is, meanwhile, awaiting the release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi-dubbed version. The film, which premiered in the Telugu states in 2020, features Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead. It was scheduled to release in Hindi this month but that did not happen. And now according to some reports, it is being said that the trailer of this action-comedy will be out on 9th February 2022. ## Akshay Kumar who remains the busiest actor of the Bollywood industry will once again try to revive the box office after Sooryavanshi. Last year Sooryavanshi became the biggest grosser of the year for Bollywood films. The hope is that Bachchan Pandey creates the same magic as Sooryavanshi. ## Bachchan Pandey is said to revolve around a gangster but aspires to be an actor while Kriti Sanon is a journalist who wishes to become a director. Earlier, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali was to begin from early February onwards but due to the covid19 restrictions, it was delayed. ## Salman Khan who is currently busy with the last leg shooting of highly-anticipated espionage action-thriller Tiger3 will begin Sajid Nadiadwala's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali after finishing Tiger3. Salman Khan had announced the film in January last year, and it was scheduled for Eid 2021 release. However, the film has been delayed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.## Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have already started their preparation for this action-comedy while the rest of the cast is yet to be locked. From what we heard, the entire cast and crew of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be locked in a few weeks.## Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will be helmed by Farhad Samji and is bankrolled by Salman Khan Films and Nadiadwala Grandson. The story of the film is written by Sajid himself. Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala's last collaboration was Kick in 2014 which was a blockbuster and remains the biggest hit of Sajid Nadiadwala's banner.
