Mumbai, August 31 - Gadar 2 Heads for another massive day at the box office on its third Thursday. The movie witnessed a solid hold with a drop of around 10% from yesterday as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 7.75 crores net. It is not an official holiday for Rakshabandhan but still it's a big festival in India and hence it boosted the collections of the film. There will be a drop tomorrow as the film is coming after two consecutive big days helped by the festival but the job has been done.## The third Thursday collections will take the total collections of Gadar 2 to around 482 cr net box office mark which is the third highest grosser number ever behind Pathaan and Bahubali2. The fourth-weekend collections are expected to be in the range of 18-20cr which means the film will cross or reach the 500cr net box office mark by the end of the fourth weekend and then even a decent hold will take the film to the top position until Jawan release. ## It will be interesting to know how Gadar2 performs once Jawan hits the screen which will take away the 90% of screens though Gadar2 will be played in a decent number of single screens as the film is collecting exceedingly well in these theaters. ## Gadar2 is the biggest hit of the year and a legendary blockbuster. The early estimates suggest around 9 crores net collection today which is excellent number for any film on 20th day. Many films do not even collect this much on their opening day which speaks about the universal appreciation of the Gadar 2.## The third Wednesday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 475cr net box office mark which are extraordinary numbers. There will be another big day tomorrow as some parts of the country will celebrate the Rakshabandhan holiday. The film is expected to collect around 8-10cr tomorrow as well which will take the film to around 483-485cr mark. There will be a drop on the fourth Friday as the film will be coming after two-part holidays but again the growth on Saturday and Sunday should be enough to take the collections towards the massive 500cr net box office mark. ## The film was always going to collect 500cr net as the sort of occupancies the film had in the first week was never witnessed in the multiplex era. There were centers where the film was running with 100% occupancy and faced capacity issues. These audiences watched the film in the subsequent days as the demand to watch the film was there but supply was not enough. ## The film has emerged as the all-time blockbuster at the box office. The growth is around 10% and can go upto 15% which is a positive sign for the movie in its pursuit to become number one Hindi movie. The holiday period will kick in in some states and hence the film has witnessed this growth as early estimates suggest 5 crores net and can go towards 5.25 crores on its third Tuesday.## The third Tuesday collections will take the total box office collections of Gadar2 to around 466cr net box office mark. The film is sure to reach the mammoth 500cr net mark which is achieved by only two films in the history Bahubali2 and Pathaan. ## The film is expected to reach 490-495cr by the end of the fourth weekend and then it will all boil down to how Jawan performs at the box office.
