Story: Rohan Arora aka Mickey is the son of rich business magnate Ramesh Arora, who lives with his family in Delhi and also has a secret profession as a breakup artist. One day, Mickey and his best friend Manu Dabbas leave on a bachelor's trip to Spain, where they are joined by Dabbas's girlfriend Kinchi and her best friend Nisha Malhotra aka Tinni, a modern fun-loving woman. Mickey and Tinny crazily fall for each other and Mickey introduces Tinni to his family. However, Tinny suddenly decides to breakup with Mickey and hires a break-up artist to seperate them, unaware that Micky is actually the break-up artist where he is now assigned to break his own relationship.
Ranbir Kapoor's strong zone is romantic zone and yes, he excels in it in this film. The monologues, the dance moves, expressions all things are done effortlessly by him. Shraddha Kapoor was good too and gives a good support to Ranbir. In the supporting cast, Anurag Singh Bassi entertains in comic scenes and Dimple Kapadia enhances the family portions.
Rom-Com Family Films must have good music, writing and cinematography. TJMM has it all. Pritam gives a good album with Pyaar Hota Kahin Baar Hai standing out (wonder what happened to him during Shehzada), cinematography is good with good production values and writing works effectively with good funny scenes and effective drama scenes.
Overall, Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar (TJMM) is a good Rom-Com Family Entertainer that can surely be a good watch for the weekend and can have a repeat value for some.
