Mumbai, February 17 - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's search for a box office hit since the COVID-19 pandemic is finally coming to an end as their romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is racing towards 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office. ## The Maddock Films' production grossed over 81 crores in the first week and started the second week with a decent hold in collection. The movie grossed around 3.50 crores on its second Friday (8th day), which pushed the total domestic collection to over 56.50 crores. ## TBMAUJ is doing very well at the overseas box office and has so far grossed around 29 crores for over 85.50 crores worldwide in 8 days. The movie is already showing a very good jump on its second Saturday which is likely to follow another good jump on Sunday. Ranveer Singh Locks Shooting Timeline For 'Don 3' and 'Shaktimaan'

Mumbai, February 15 - Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the non-stop action in the next couple of years with back-to-back big-ticket entertainers. The actor has had a mixed bag of success over the last couple of years and now, he aims to make big over the next few years. ## Ranveer is currently shooting for director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again with Ajay Devgn in the title role. The actor has already shot for most of his part and will wrap up by April this year. Mumbai, February 8 - Hrithik Roshan's Fighter scored a decent second week at the domestic box office with around 40.50+ crores net. The Siddharth Anand's directorial aerial action thriller is heading towards finishing over 200 crores net collection, which at one stage, looked very difficult.## After the good but underwhelming first week of 146.50 crores net, Fighter needed a turnaround to stay afloat and managed to do that with a timely jump over the second weekend in which the movie minted approximately 28.75 crores net.## The movie had another drop on its second Monday which was expected but just like the first week, it didn't drop drastically and stayed steady during the weekdays. Previously, Yami Gautam-starrer Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (direct release) was the most-watched Indian title on Netflix in the first 10 days with 29 million hours. ## Among the post-theatrical Netflix releases, SS Rajamouli's mega-hit RRR was previously the number-one watched movie at the same time with 25.5 million viewing hours, a number Animal has beaten by a long margin. Produced by Roy Kapur Films in association with Zee Studios, Deva is said to be the official remake of the Malayalam movie Mumbai Police. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' Shooting Details Revealed

Mumbai, February 4 - The countdown begins for the shoot commencement of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-led epic Ramayana, potentially the biggest Indian film in the making. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the three-part film features Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, among others. ## The pre-production work on Ramayana has been going on for a long time and now, the makers are set to take the movie on floors in March this year. According to a report by TOI, the first schedule of the film will take in Mumbai for around 60 days in which Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will be shooting for their portions. ## After the Mumbai schedule, the team will head to London for another around 60 days of filming. Superstar Yash will join Ranbir in the London schedule, however, the former will shoot for around 15-20 days as he will have an extended appearance as Lankesh in the first part of Ramayana. ## The second and third parts of Ramayana will mainly focus on Yash's Raavan and Sunny Deol's Hanuman along with Ranbir and Pallavi. Meanwhile, it is said that Ranbir has willingly renounced alcohol and non-vegetarian food as his intention is to feel as pure as lord Ram in this epic saga. ## Apart from the aforementioned actors, the makers have roped in Lara Dutta to play the role of Kaikeyi while the talks are in an advanced stage with Vijay Sethupathi to play Vibhishana. Mumbai, February 3 - It is known to everyone that Sunny Deol has reunited with director Rajkumar Santoshi after more than two decades for a period action drama film titled Lahore 1947, which is based on the Punjabi play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jamyai Nai by Asghar Wajahat. ## The movie will be produced by Aamir Khan and the makers have roped in a stellar cast with Sunny Deol in the lead. It was recently reported that actress Preity Zinta was locked in to play the female lead. She was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit back in 2018 and it also starred Sunny in the title role. ## Lahore 1947 marks Priety Zinta and Sunny Deol's 5th film together and veteran actress Shabana Azmi will be joining them for a crucial role. It is said that Azmi will be portraying the character of a Hindu matriarch in Lahore. Box Office: Fighter Is Steady After First Monday Crash

Mumbai, February 3 - After the harsh first Monday crash, Hrithik Roshan's Fighter has shown a much better hold since then and now, it has started the second weekend on a good note.## The Siddharth Anand's directorial had a good opening weekend with 118.50 crores net collection over 4 days, however, the harsh drop of over 70% for approximately 8 crores net on its first Monday raised the eyebrows of the trade which felt the movie won't survive from there on. ## After that Monday crash, Fighter needed to steady the ship as another fall would have been the end of its journey at the box office but with positive word of mouth, especially in metro cities, making sure the film didn't drop further beyond the regular dip. ## Over the next three days (Tuesday - Thursday), the film held better with a regular drop of around 10% to score 146.50 crores net in the extended first 8-day week. Fighter crossed the 150 crores net mark on its second Friday with approximately 5.75 crores net collection, for approximately 152.25 crores net in 9 days. The second weekend is expected to score over 20+ crores net. ## Fighter is very good at the overseas box office and has so far grossed an estimated 76 crores in 9 days. Mumbai, February 2 - Director Meghna Gulzar's war biographical grama Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role has emerged as an all-time biggest opener for ZEE5 in Hindi-language, according to Deadline. ## Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw, was premiered on ZEE5 on January 26 after 8 weeks of theatrical run. In the first three days of its digital release, the film has risen to the top position among all Hindi titles released on the ZEE5. ## While viewership numbers are not revealed, ZEE5 said that the movie has been watched in over 190 countries on the platform, with the U.S., Australia, the UK, the United Arab Emirates and Canada as the top performers outside of India. ## Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP, Sam Bahadur was also a theatrical success with a worldwide gross collection of over 130 crores. Mumbai, February 1 - Indian films have started well at the box office in 2024 as three of them are among the top 10 highest-grossing titles worldwide this year so far.## Director Prasanth Varma's superhero film Hanuman emerged as a huge blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of around 265 crores in 20 days. In India, the movie has minted approximately 210 crores while the overseas collection is around 55 crores so far. ## Hanuman is the 5th highest-grossing film globally in 2024 in January, followed by Hrithik Roshan's Fighter.
