Box Office: 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' Scores A Good First Week Worldwide

Mumbai, February 15 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's romantic-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has a good first week at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office, and heading towards 100 crores gross.

Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the impossible love story has minted 44+ crores net (53 crores gross) at the domestic box office in the first week. Overseas, TBMAUJ has grossed an estimated 28 crores so far, for worldwide 81 crores gross first week total.



TBMAUJ is the 6th highest-grossing movie domestically and 5th worldwide for Shahid Kapoor while for Kriti, it is her 8th biggest domestic and 6th worldwide grosser. The movie will be entering 100 crores worldwide gross club in the second weekend.

The first-week worldwide collection of TBMAUJ has crossed the combined lifetime worldwide total of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's last respective theatrical releases, Jersey (31 crores) and Ganapath (18 crores) and both those movies were big disasters.

The movie is produced by Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios and it also stars Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and Rakesh Bedi, among others.
