Box Office: Samrat Prithviraj First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, June 4 - Samrat Prithviraj has shown a little improvement in its collections as the film is estimated to score around 12.50 crores net on its first Saturday. The growth from the first day is around 15% which is decent as you expect around 50% growth on Saturdays when the starting point of the film is low. The trajectory of the film is very similar to the last Akshay Kumar film Bachchhan Paandey which scored around 37.25cr net box office collections in the first weekend and that will be going to be the target for Samrat Prithviraj. The first Saturday collections will take the first two days of collections of the film to a little over 23cr net box office mark depending on the final first Saturday collections. The limited growth on Saturday also confirmed that the film won't see any huge growth on Sunday as well. All the major centers have performed poorly on the first two days while some single screens in the North have seen good footfalls over the first two days. The film is the costliest film of Akshay Kumar's career and looking from that point of view then the numbers are disastrous. Box Office: Samrat Prithviraj Opening Day Early Estimates; Set For A Double-Digit Start

Mumbai, June 3 - Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar in a titular role was one of the most awaited films of this year. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Samrat Prithiviraj is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The magnum opus has been released on over 5000 screens worldwide and around 3800 screens in India making it one of the biggest releases of Akshay Kumar's career. The film was expected to take a flying start but that could not happen as the trailer and promos could not create much anticipation and further even music proved to be a damp squib. The early estimates collections are heading for a double-digit start in the range of 10-11 crores net. This is a good first-day number for a mid-sized film but not at all for a mega-budgeted film like Samrat Prithviraj. The opening in all the major cities is bad. The opening will be less than the last Akshay Kumar film Bachchan Pandey which collected 13.25 crores net box on the first day against an opponent like The Kashmir Files. The positive thing is that B and C tier centers have seen good footfalls but when the film is so humongous in stature like Samrat Prithiviraj then the center-wise business cannot help the film as it needs universal business across the board. The film needs to show huge growth over Saturday and Sunday to score respectable first weekend collections. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' With Director Atlee To Have A Pan India Release On June 2, 2023

Mumbai, June 3 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has teamed up with Tamil director Atlee for the first time for an action thriller, titled "Jawan". Amid a lot of speculation, the makers revealed the title teaser on June 3rd and also confirmed the release date. ## Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and shared the title teaser. He also confirmed that the movie will have a Pan-India release on June 2, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It will be SRK's first Pan-India release. ## ## "Jawan" is produced by Shah Rukh Khan's own production house Red Chillies Entertainment. The shooting for the same is currently in progress. Box Office: Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Tops 200 Crores Worldwide; First For Kartik Aaryan

The movie scored an excellent second week at the domestic box office, minting Rs. 49.7 crores net. This takes the total net collection of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" to Rs. 141.75 crores net in just two weeks. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" has grossed approx. 35 crores at the overseas box office. It has also become Kartik Aaryan's first 200 crores worldwide grosser after it scored Rs. 202 crores through the second Thursday. The movie beat "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" (Rs. 156.46cr) to become the biggest hit of Kartik's career. ## "Bhool Bhulaiya 2" is the sequel to 2006's classic hit starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the leading roles. The movie was anticipated to do justice to the original movie and it has perfectly played that part by delivering big at the box office. Mumbai, June 1 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for Tamil director Atlee and this marks their first collaboration. While the movie had already commenced filming last year, the makers haven't announced the film officially.## According to the latest reports, SRK's film with Atlee will officially be announced in the next couple of days with a title teaser. The movie has reportedly been titled "Jawaan".
