Kuwait and Oman Ban Akshay Kumar-Fronted Samrat Prithviraj; Will It Affect Its Box Office Collections Overseas?

Mumbai, June 1 - Akshay Kumar's much-awaited movie Samrat Prithviraj got banned in countries like Kuwait and Oman. The movie was scheduled to hit screens on June 3rd worldwide but it will now not be released in these two countries.

This is not the first time an Indian movie got banned in Kuwait and Oman. Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast also faced the same condition as they found that many scenes in the movie hurt religious sentiments.



However, this ban imposed on Samrat Prithviraj will not much affect the overseas business. The reason for this ban may be due to the depiction of Muhammad Ghori as the antagonist.

Samrat Prithviraj will hit the big screens this Friday 3rd June. The movie is Based on Warrior Samrat Prithviraj and Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the title role while former Miss World Manushi Chhillar plays the role of his Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan's beloved Sanyogita.
