A Sequel To Salman Khan's 'No Entry' Has Officially Been Confirmed

Mumbai, May 1 - One of the most anticipated Bollywood movie sequels, "No Entry" has been making noise for a long time now. Superstar Salman Khan had himself said in December last year that he would be working on the sequel, however, the shooting and other details were not disclosed by him at that time. ## It was reported that the original lead trio of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan would be reuniting for the movie along with director Anees Bazmee. Now, the director has himself confirmed the movie and said that the shooting for the same will be commenced soon. ## Anees told IndiaToday.in, "The shoot of the film is going to start very soon. I have met Salman Bhai four to five times and told him that we have to start this film soon now. He is very serious and we are going to start very soon. Salman Bhai is there, there's Fardeen [Khan] and Anil Kapoor. These three will be a part of the movie". ## "No Entry", which was released in 2005, was the highest-grossing film of the year. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie holds a special place in the comedy genre in the Hindi film industry. The demand for the sequel has been there for a long time and according to Boney Kapoor, the script is ready for the movie, which is titled "No Entry Mein Entry". ## "I have the script and now it is up to Salman if he wants to do it and when he wants to do it... The No Entry Mein Entry script that I have is better than the No Entry one. It is 10 times funnier than No Entry, but the film to be made completely depends on Salman, it can be made only with him", he had said according to DNA. ## The original movie also starred Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, and Celina Jaitly along with Bipasha Basu as female leads. Box Office: Heropanti 2 First Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 30 - Heropanti 2 which had a decent opening day collection of around 6.70 cr net, goes down on day two. The early estimates for day two are set to be in the range of 5.50 cr net. The film was released alongside Runway 34 which collected similar collections on day two but the difference is that Runway 34 has witnessed a growth of more than 50% while Heropanti went down by around 15% when it also should have shown growth. The two-day collections of Heropanti2 will be around 12.50 cr net box office collections which is not a big number for a Tiger Shroff action film as he is a huge star now and has given far bigger openings. The hope is that the film should not see further growth on Sunday. The weekend total should be around 20cr net for Heropanti2. Box Office: KGF Chapter 2 Crosses 350 Crores Net In Hindi

Mumbai, April 30 - The new Bollywood releases on the Eid 2022 weekend were supposed to challenge "KGF Chapter 2" which is running riot at the Hindi box office. However, the lukewarm response to "Runway 34", and "Heropanti 2" has confirmed that KGF Chapter 2 will have another solid weekend at the box office. ## The Yash-fronted period action drama film did not lose grip and scored a solid third Friday (16th day) at the Hindi box office with 4.25 crores net. This takes the movie past 350 crores net (353.06cr), which is the second-fastest ever in Hindi. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" still remains the fastest to reach the milestone of 350 crores net, in just 12 days. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, "KGF 2" is only the third film ever to cross 350 crores net in Hindi, and now, it is well and truly on to become only the second film to reach 400 crores, after "Baahuabli 2". "Drishyam 2" is the Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer 2021 Malayalam movie of the same name, and it also features Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta in key roles. ## The story of "Drishyam 2" takes place six years after the events of Drishyam (2015). Rohit Shetty, Reliance Entertainment Join Hands To Produce The Biopic Of Mumbai's Former Commissioner of Police, Rakesh Maria

Mumbai, April 30 - Filmmaker Rohit Shetty's admiration for Indian police forces is no hidden secret to anyone. Known for his famous cop universe (Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi), the maverick filmmaker has now joined hands with Reliance Entertainment to produce the biopic of Mumbai's one of the most revered top cops and former commissioner of police, Rakesh Maria. ## As deputy commissioner of police (traffic) in 1993, Rakesh Maria cracked the Bombay serial blasts case. He was later deputy commissioner of police (crime) and then joint commissioner of police (crime), of the Mumbai police.## Maria solved the 2003 Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar twin blasts case, arresting six persons, including a couple for planting the explosive devices inside taxis. He was also given the responsibility of investigating the 26/11 Mumbai attacks of 2008. He interrogated Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist captured alive, and successfully investigated the case. Kasab was executed by hanging in 2012. ## The biopic will be based on Maria's 2020 memoir "Let Me Say it Now" and will be mentored by Shetty himself. The cast and the director of the film are yet to be finalized. ## Rohit Shetty said, "Rakesh Maria, the man who stared terror in the face for 36 years. His incredible journey spans all the way from the 1993 blasts in Mumbai, the underworld menace, to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. Box Office: Runway 34 Opening Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 29 - Runway 34 which stars Ajay Devgan and Amitabh Bachchan has been released in the theaters today to a lukewarm response. The film does not have anything that could have bought a big audience initially and even the trailer and music were very limited for the mass audience. The early estimates collections suggest a 3.50 cr net box office collections which are very similar to last week's Jersey. The opening is very low especially if you consider the star power of Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan as they are among the most popular stars in the nation. The film needs to show big growth on Saturday and Sunday to put a respectable first-weekend collection. The film has been released alongside Heropanti2 but despite that, the film should have scored a higher opening day number. Mumbai, April 29 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan released the first song 'Kahani' from his upcoming social comedy-drama film "Laal Singh Chaddha". The superstar kept the audience guessing about Kahani before he finally unveiled the song on Thursday (April 28). ## "Laal Singh Chaddha" is an Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks-fronted "Forrest Gump". Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. Amazon Prime Video Scores Post Theatrical Streaming Deals With Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Excel Entertainment & Ajay Devgn

Mumbai, April 28 - Amazon Prime Video has revealed its mega plans for Indian audiences for the next couple of years. The streaming giant announced at an event in Mumbai that at least 40+ original Indian shows and movies are currently in development at the studio and will be released in the next 24 months. ## Apart from original titles, Prime Video also inked exclusive post-theatrical streaming deals with big Bollywood banners. During the covid-19 pandemic, Prime Video has been a home of the most the Indian movies for the direct OTT and post-theatrical releases.## Among the top partnership, Amazon scored a huge deal with Yash Raj Films for its five mega-budgeted films that are scheduled to release in the next 12 months. This partnership will officially be kicked off with Ranveer Singh's "Jayeshbhai Jordaar", which is slated to release on May 13th and will end on the blockbuster "Tiger 3", starring superstar Salman Khan.## The five YRF movies are as follows with their theatrical release dates - Jayeshbhai Jordaar (13th May), Prithviraj (3rd June), Shamshera (20th July), Pathaan (25th Jan 2023), and Tiger 3 (21st April 2023). As reported earlier, Prime Video has paid a whopping price to acquire post-theatrical streaming rights of the aforementioned movies.## The second big post-theatrical streaming deal is with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. Prime Video will stream Excel's five movies after they complete their theatrical run. These movies are - Phone Bhoot, Yudhra, Jee Le Zara, Fukrey 3, and Kho Gaye Hain Hum Kahan. ## Apart from YRF and Excel, the streamer also stikes 4 films deal with Ajay Devgn, which includes his latest "Runway 34". Apart from "Runway 34", the social comedy film "Thank God" (July 2022), the action thriller "Bhola" (Feb. 2023), and the thriller "Drishyam 2" will also be premiered on Prime Video after big-screen release. ## Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has already tested success with Prime Video with direct OTT release of its two movies, "Shershaah", and "Gehraiyaan".
