Salman Khan is officially back on set for his much-anticipated collaboration with renowned director Vamshi Paidipally. The high-octane entertainer, which is currently referred to as #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm, has commenced its first shooting schedule in Mumbai. This project has been a major topic of discussion since its initial announcement, and the start of production marks a significant step forward for what is expected to be one of the biggest releases in the near future. Salman Khan portrays Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the posthumous recipient of the Maha Vir Chakra. Featuring Chitrangda Singh as the female lead, Maatrubhumi has faced several production delays and is currently awaiting an official announcement regarding its final release schedule as of late April 2026. With Salman Khan returning to his roots of high-energy action entertainers, expectations are sky-high for this collaboration. The makers have kept the specific details of the plot and the official title a secret for now, which has only added to the curiosity among fans.
