Pushpa 2 Release Preponed By A Day

Hyderabad, October 10 - The hugely-anticipated Pan India action drama film Pushpa 2 - The Rule, starring superstar Allu Arjun, is set to arrive sooner than expected as the makers have reportedly preponed the film by a day. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 was announced to hit the big screens on December 6 in multiple languages and as per the latest update, it will now be released a day early on December 5 this year. Mythri Movie Makers has produced it with Sukumar Writings.## Pushpa 2 is the second part of superhit Pushpa - The Rise which was released in 2021 and grossed over 350 crores worldwide. Hyderabad, October 10 - Director Prasanth Varma soared to the limelight after his directorial Hanuman emerged as a massive box-office blockbuster with around 300 crores gross collection. Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was the first movie in Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe, a superhero franchise. After Hanuman, Varma recently announced the second movie in PVCU with Nandamuri Balakrishna's son, Mokshagna Teja. Wasting no time, the promising filmmaker has now announced the first female-led superhero movie in PVCU with an astonishing poster. The movie titled Mahakali is about Goddess Kali, an invincible warrior, the protector of the righteous, and the ultimate destroyer of evil. SSMB 29 Shoot Starts In January 2025

Hyderabad, October 9 - Following the huge success of RRR, maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli's next film is with superstar Mahesh Babu. Tentatively titled SSMB 29, the movie is touted to be a globe-trotting with the king of things the team has planned for this one. ## The movie has been in the pre-production for some time and the latest development is that it will start rolling in January 2025. Award-winning writer Vijayendra Prasad, who has written all the films directed by Rajamouli and also is his father, said in a recent 'Master Class' session that SSMB 29 shoot will commence in Jan 2025. ## It is an adventure movie set against the backdrop of the Amazon rainforest. Vijayendra Prasad has written the script and has worked on the same for nearly two years. He said that the movie will introduce audiences to a completely new world, one that hasn't been seen in Indian cinema before. ## SSMB 29 will mark the maiden collaboration between Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli. Prabhas-Fronted Blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD' Sets Japan Release

Hyderabad, October 9 - One of the biggest Indian blockbusters of the year, Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi action drama Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up for its release in Japan and other international territories with Russia and China in the consideration. ## According to Variety, Nag Ashwin directed Kalki 2898 AD will be released in Japanese cinemas in early 2025 through Twin, the distribution company headed by industry veteran Kabata Keizo. The studio previously released SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR which is currently the highest-grossing Indian title in Japan. ## Prabhas is a popular Indian star in Japan. His Baahubali 2 and Saaho are among the highest-grossing Indian titles in the anime country. If Kalki 2898 AD gets a positive reception, it can repeat the success of those movies. ## Apart from Japan, Kalki is also set for a Russian release, with a dubbed version expected to hit theatres in the coming months. The makers are also exploring the options to release the movie in China which hasn't been a regular international market for Indian movies. ## Produced by C. Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend. ## As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold. ## Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. Superstar Jr. NTR Teams Up With 'Jailer' Director Nelson Dilipkumar

Hyderabad, November 9 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is basking on the success of the action drama Devara: Part 1 which grossed over 420 crores at the worldwide box office. This was the actor's second release in nearly 6 years and now, he is gearing up for back-to-back films. ## Jr. NTR is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller War 2 which marks his Bollywood debut. He will soon start director Prashanth Neel's action drama, tentatively titled Dragon, and now according to the latest reports, the actor has locked in one more film. ## As per the latest Telugu media reports, the RRR star has been in talks with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for a film. It is said that Nelson narrated a few story ideas to Jr. NTR and one of them will be locked soon. Hyderabad, September 27 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has set the box office on fire to score one of the biggest openings for an Indian movie at the domestic box office, and by far the biggest solo start for the actor. ## The movie recorded sensational pre-sales which led to the foundation of a monstrous start and after the early morning and midnight shows, where it scored decent word of mouth, Devara was unstoppable throughout the day with excellent occupancies, especially in Telugu states. ## According to early estimates, Devara is looking to gross 70+ crore in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) which is easily one of the biggest starts there. In Karnataka, the movie is expected to gross in the range of 10-11 crores and an estimated 2.50 crore gross is expected in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. ## Devara surprises in the Hindi belt with the better-than-expected opening. The movie scored decent pre-sales in Hindi which indicated in the mid-single digit score. However, due to decent word of mouth, the spot booking got a boost. Per estimates, the film scored 7+ crore net collection in Hindi (8.25+ crore gross) which is a good start. ## Overall, Devara is estimated to gross around 90 crores (77 crores net) collection on its opening day which is the second biggest of the year after Kalki 2898 AD. Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Mumbai, September 26 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR returns to the big screens with director Koratala Siva's action drama Devara: Part 1 which is set to unleash at the box office tomorrow, September 27. It is the actor's first film since SS Rajamouli's directorial blockbuster RRR in March 2022. ## Devara has been creating waves with its advance booking response for the last few days. The movie's pre-sales have crossed 40 crores gross for the opening day in India (including block seats) while worldwide sales have surpassed the 75 crores mark which is one of the biggest for an Indian movie.## The historic pre-sales response to Devara has confirmed 100+ crores worldwide start at the box office and this will be Jr. NTR's back-to-back 100 crores opener and first solo movie to take this sort of opening at the box office. While the pre-sales aren't encouraging in the Hindi belt, the same is not the case in South Indian regions where tickets are getting sold out within minutes. The movie is having the best response in Telugu states where bookings are simply historic, followed by Karnataka and a decent response in Tamil Nadu. ## Given the pre-sales trend and how the market has behaved in the past, Devara is expected to score the opening in the range of 70 crore gross in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). This will be one of the biggest openings ever in this part of the country if the projection holds. Apart from AP/TG, Karnataka is another strong market for Telugu stars and pre-sales there are excellent. The movie is expected to score 10+ crores gross collection in the state. In Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Devara is heading towards the opening in the range of 3 crore gross with a large contribution from TN.## The North India is the market to watch out for Devara as far as the box office is concerned. Post RRR, there have been high expectations from Jr. NTR to deliver in Hindi which has become a strong market for Telugu movies. The pre-sales of the movie in Hindi hasn't been that strong but are still better than some of recent Bollywood movies featuring top stars. ## In Hindi, the movie is expected to take an opening of 5-6 crore gross which can be called a decent start. If it manages to get positive word of mouth, Devara has a real shot at scoring a healthy collection. Including all versions, the domestic opening of Devara is expected to be around 85-90 crores. ## The overseas pre-sales are also sensational and Devara is headed to take the opening of around $5 million (40 crores gross), for a worldwide opening of around 125 crores gross. Hyderabad, September 25 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has completed its box office journey with over 1000 crore gross collection worldwide. It is the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2024 and one of the highest-grossers of all time.## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD was released on June 27 amid huge anticipation and it didn't disappoint by scoring positive reception which was enough for it to set the box office on fire. The movie opened to a historic collection of over 175 crores worldwide and never looked back since then. ## Kalki has the biggest opening for an Indian movie of 2024 and the third biggest of all time after RRR and Baahubali. The movie proved to be a sensational blockbuster in the Hindi version which outgrossed its original Telugu version collection. ## The movie missed the milestone of 300 crore net collection in Hindi but did well enough to emerge as the third biggest South Indian grosser in the dubbed version after Baahubali 2 and KGF: Chapter 2 with approximately 293 crore net collection. Hyderabad, September 25 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is set to unleash at the box office this Friday (September 27) and the pre-sales for the same are over the roof in the domestic and international markets. ## Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara will have a 50-day theatrical window, unlike 4 weeks which has become a norm for most South Indian films. Hyderabad, September 24 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR will return to the big screen after more than 2 years since blockbuster RRR (2022) with the action drama Devara: Part 1 which is scheduled to be released on September 27.
