Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Beats 'Jawan' To Score The Biggest Opening In Hindi

Mumbai, December 6 - Superstar Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has stormed the box office as becomes the biggest opener ever in Hindi, beating superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan which took the opening of 65.50 crores net in Hindi.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 minted approximately 70 crores net collection in the dubbed Hindi version, thus emerging as the biggest opener. It is only the second movie ever after Jawan to breach the 60 crore mark and the first to 70 crore net on the pure opening day, as the third best is Pathaan with a 55 crore net start.

Apart from the record-breaking opening day in Hindi, Pushpa 2 has also broken the opening day record at the Indian box office with over 200 crores gross collection in all versions. It has beaten RRR which grossed 156 crores on its first day in March 2022.
