Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Eyes To Top 'Jawan' Opening Weekend Record In Hindi

Mumbai, December 7 - After another big second day, Pushpa 2 - The Rule is going berserk on Saturday at the Hindi box office and will be looking to come close to the opening day collection of around 70 crores net which is insane.

Starring superstar Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 has minted approximately 127 crores net collection in Hindi in the first 2 days and with big Saturday and Sunday loading, the movie will be eyeing to top superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan's opening weekend and it should get there easily.



Jawan had scored approximately 252 crores net in its first 4-day opening weekend and Pushpa 2 will be looking to score 255 crores net collection at minimum to claim the biggest first weekend total ever in Hindi. This is also the first time when a South Indian movie will have a 200+ crores net weekend in Hindi.

Pushpa 2 is unlikely to stop after potentially the record-breaking opening weekend. With positive word of mouth among the audience and no new release for the next two weeks, the movie's strong run at the box office is expected to continue and might be eyeing the ultimate prize in the long run.
