Hyderabad, November 4 - The most successful Indian filmmakers in the post-pandemic era, directors Sukumar and Vivek Agnihotri, and producer Abhishek Aggarwal are collaborating for something very exciting and a big Pan India film. ## Sukumar has been the talk of the town ever since the blockbuster success of Pushpa - The Rise while Vivek Agnihotri and Abhishek Aggarwal scripted history with The Kashmir Files before the latter scored another blockbuster film in the form of Karthikeya 2. ## The trio is now coming together and joining hands for a Pan India film which is said to be going to change the course of Indian cinema. RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Scores The Biggest First Week For An Indian Movie

Tokyo, October 29 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR scored the biggest ever first-week collections at the Japan box office for an Indian movie. ## The period action drama film, which grossed over 1100 crores worldwide in its initial run at the worldwide box office, was released in Japan on October 21 on over 209 screens, including 31 IMAX screens across 44 locations. ## According to Variety, the big-screen spectacle grossed JPY73 million ($495K or Rs. 4.05 crores), making it the highest first-week collection for an Indian film in Japan. It opened at No. 10 and the top nine films were all local Japanese films. "RRR" was the highest-grossing non-Japanese film of this week. ## The website reported that "RRR" will recover its total release cost and will enter into a profit zone within 10 days or during the second weekend. Hyderabad, October 18 - Thalapathy Vijay is almost done with the shoot of his maiden Telugu film Vaarasudu which is also being shot in Tamil as Varisu. The movie is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju and is slated for Pongal 2023 release.## After "Varisu", Thalapathy Vijay is committed to his Thalapathy 67 with director Lokesh Kangaraj, which will be a pan-India film. The shoot for the same is expected to start by December this year. Meanwhile, the latest talk in the town is that Thalapathy Vijay has also greenlit "Thalapathy 68". ## It has already been reported previously that Thalapathy would be reuniting with director Atlee for a mass entertainer, and now, according to the Telugu360 report, Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers will produce this Pan India film. The movie will reportedly be shot in Tamil and Telugu, making the "Master" actor's second Telugu film after "Vaarasudu". ## The report further states that Mythri has already paid advance to Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee. Atlee is currently working on his Bollywood debut directorial Jawaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the title role. Hyderabad, October 15 - After months of wait, superstar Prabhas' film with director Maruthi is finally reportedly kickstarting its shoot on Monday with a puja in a Hyderabad studio. It will be a short schedule with Prabhas. ## According to the latest buzz in Tollywood, Prabhas will surprise his fans by playing a double role. It is said that the narrative of the movie, tentatively titled Raja Deluxe, is set in two distinct timelines, and it will reportedly see Prabhas playing the role of a grandfather and his grandson. ## Produced by DVV Entertainment, "Raja Deluxe" is touted to be a horror comedy film that will reportedly feature 3 heroines. While Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal are reportedly on board, the third heroine will be finalized soon. South Indian Titans Set Up Big Box Office Clashes On Pongal/Sankranthi 2023

Chennai, October 13 - Two of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema, Thalapathy Vijay and Ajith Kumar are shooting for their next films, titled Varisu, and Thunivu, respectively. The shooting of both films is in the last leg as they are getting ready for release in 2023. ## Thalapathy Vijay's "Varisu", which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie and it has already been announced to release on Pongal 2023, mostly on January 12. And now, the latest news is that the makers of "Thunivu" are also eyeing the Pongal release, mostly on January 13. ## "Thunivu" is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor in association with Zee Studios. Pongal has always lured Indian filmmakers, especially South filmmakers, to release their films in theaters and make the most out of it. This year, except for Nagarajuna's "Bangarraju", no other big films were released in theaters due to the 3rd covid-19 wave, but the 2023 Pongal festival will not have to face such things. ## Apart from the mega box office clash between Tamil superstars, the Telugu superstars are also coming with their films on Sankranthi. Megastar Chiranjeevi Takes Full Responsibility For 'Acharya' Box Office Failure

Though there are split opinions over the box office collection of the movie, the makers are in the mood for celebrations and have declared the film a big hit not just in India but overseas as well. ## The success of "Godfather" has come as a sigh of relief for megastar Chiranjeevi who was under pressure after the disastrous performance of his last movie Acharya.
