The Batman Advance Booking Update

Los Angeles, Feb 26, 2022: The hugely hyped DC movie The Batman is set to explode at the box office next week. The advance booking of the film is doing exceedingly well and it is expected to go even higher as the release gets nearer. ## Seven days before the release "The Batman" has pre-sold $17M+ worth tickets which is an extraordinary turnout for the film. If we compare to the previous event films then The Batman has done only 23% of Spiderman: No Way Home but it has outperformed Eternals and black Widow by doing 180% and 173% respectively. Remember all these before seven days of the release. ## There are many predictions that are being made at the moment but it is safe to predict that The Batman will be looking for a $115-135M in the first weekend. ## 'The Batman' is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. Los Angeles, February 24 - The Sony Pictures' video game adaptation, "Uncharted" has surpassed the entire domestic box office total of James Gunn-directed "The Suicide Squad", starring Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, and John Cena, among others, in just 6 days. ## The Tom Holland-fronted adventure movie, based on the popular PlayStation game series from publisher Naughty Dog, "Uncharted" has grossed $57.9 million through Wednesday (Feb. 23), overtaking "The Suicide Squad" ($55.8M) along with "The Addams Family 2" ($56.5M), and "The Boss Baby 2" ($57.3M). ## Warner Bros. "The Suicide Squad", based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad, was a day-and-date release on HBO Max in 2021 while "Uncharted" is an exclusive theatrical release, which has been Sony's top priority, despite the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the life of J. The Sony Picture's video game adaptation, based on the popular PlayStation game series from publisher Naughty Dog, "Uncharted" topped the 3-day domestic weekend with $44.2 million. ## Tom Holland has proved his star power and also answered many questions that he can also deliver at the box office outside "Spider-Man" movies. The 4-day President Weekend for "Uncharted" is projected to reach $51 million domestically (North America), which are significant box office numbers, considering the fact that the movie has been sidelined by critics with just a 39% score on Rotten Tomatoes. ## Internationally, the Ruben Fleischer-directed film is even more strong after debuting in the 47 new markets with $55.4 million. Earlier, the movie opened in the 15 international markets and had grossed $22.6 million, pushing its overseas haul to $88 million. The studio's Weibo account shared the news today with a video message from Holland and Wahlberg and a subtitled trailer, as well as a new poster, according to Deadline. ## Based on Sony's video game series of the same name developed by Naughty Dog, "Uncharted" won't be a day-and-date release with domestic, but it is surely a great sign as Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is facing trouble to get released in China, owing to what amounted to an unofficial ban on Marvel throughout the past year. ## Apart from "Uncharted", the other Hollywood title that gets a release date in China is Warner Bros./DC's "The Batman", starring Robert Pattinson. The studio, during a virtual press event in June last year, had confirmed the 7th installment in this highly popular franchise, and now, the company has confirmed that "Rise of the Beasts" will start a new trilogy. ## The studio originally launched the Transformers movie franchise in 2007 with Micahel Bay directing and Shia LaBeouf starring. After five main films in the series, Paramount delivered a reboot film, "Bumblebee" in 2018. The new trilogy of the main series is kicking off in 2023 with "Rise of the Beasts", which takes place between Bumblebee and the Michael Bay movies. ## As announced by Paramount last year, the forthcoming Transformers movie will be different from its previous films in many ways.
