Mumbai, February 16 - Hollywood is the oldest and the biggest industry in the world in terms of revenue and the quality of pictures they produce. In the 21st century, many biggies of Hollywood created and broke several records in world cinema.

Titanic's mighty record which it created two decades ago was broken by the director James Cameron's movie Avatar which was released in 2009. This record was held by Avatar for almost a decade till Avengers End Game broke it in 2019.



Last year Spiderman: No Way Home did marvelous business (still playing in theaters) and stood out as the most successful movie critically and commercially, and it is now the 3rd highest-grossing movie ever in the history of Hollywood.

Collections of movies depend mainly on ticket prices. Footfalls (number of tickets sold by the movie) give us a clear picture of how fascinated the audiences are with the movie. Spiderman No Way Home has crossed more than 8 cr footfalls in the domestic market. It collected $760 million US dollars.
