Female Lead Locked Opposite Kartik Aaryan In Rom-Com 'Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri'

Mumbai, February 4 - Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has reunited with his Satyaprem Ki Katha director Sameer Vidwans for a big-budget romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions with Namah Pictures, the movie was officially announced in December last year. ## Now, according to the report by Peepingmoon, the makers have locked Ananya Pandey as the female lead to headline the project with Kartik. The actress was also in line to bag Imtiaz Ali's next love story, but she chose TMMTMTTM as both films will go on floors at the same time. ## TMMTMTTM marks the second film together for Kartik and Ananya after Pati Patni Aur Woh. As per the report, the upcoming rom-com revolves around a young man, a quintessential mama's boy, who embarks on a journey to find true love after experiencing three failed relationships. Akshay Kumar-Fronted C. Shankaran Nair Biopic Gets A Title; Release Date To Be Postponed

Mumbai, February 4 - The historic war film Kesari is one of the most iconic movies in Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's filmography. It narrates the story of 21 brave Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army who fought with 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen in 1897 in the Battle of Saragarhi. ## Kesari was a big box office success, leading to the high critical acclaim for Akshay and others. The film's title has its legacy, and now, the same is reportedly being used for the Airlift star's next movie on the life of C. Shankaran Nair. ## Produced by Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films and Leo Media Collective, the film is set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, and makers are giving it a franchise treatment. According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, C. Shankaran Nair's biopic, which was earlier reportedly titled Shankara, will now be titled Kesari 2 to leverage the established recognition and thematic similarity with its namesake. ## "Although this film has no direct connection to Kesari, both films share a common thread of bravery, inspiration, and patriotism as their core elements. Like Kesari, this new film also narrates a significant chapter of history, exploring themes of nationalism and heroism", says the report.## In recent times, the sequels and the franchise movies have worked well at the box office and with Kesari having goodwill, the makers are positioning the biopic as its sequel to get the benefit of the brand and is being considered a strategic move. ## Directed by debutante Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari 2 has reportedly been postponed from its original festive release of March 14. The exact reason for the release postponement is not yet known, and the new release date hasn't been revealed yet, per Peepingmoon. ## With the likely postponement of Kesari 2, Akshay's next release will be the highly-awaited Jolly LLB 3 which is scheduled to hit the big screen on April 10. Mumbai, February 3 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's war action thriller Sky Force has entered the 100 crores net club, becoming the first Bollywood and second Indian movie of 2025 to achieve the feat. The movie is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. ## Sky Force, based on true events, unlocked the 100 crores club on the second Sunday. It took 10 days to reach the milestone which has not been a regular case for Akshay-starrer lately. This is the actor's third 100 crores net grosser post the Covid-19 pandemic, after Sooryavanshi and OMG 2. ## Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Sky Force's opening weekend collection was largely boosted by the huge discounted prices and since then, it has done decently with regular prices thanks to positive word of mouth and top critics' reviews. ## It is the 126th film ever to cross 100 crores net collection in Hindi, and the 16th for Akshay Kumar which is the second highest after superstar Salman Khan's 17 movies. Mumbai, February 1 - Director Rohit Shetty has had mixed results post the COVID-19 pandemic. While his Sooryavanshi was a box-office success, Cirkus turned into a massive disaster and Singham Again, which was released on Diwali last year, didn't live up to the high expectations despite grossing over 350 crores worldwide. ## The maverick filmmaker has now reportedly decided to take a break from his blockbuster cop universe and is likely to direct a standalone action thriller film next with Bollywood star John Abraham other than comedy entertainer Golmaal 5 for which the script has reportedly been locked.## According to the report by Mid-Day, Shetty began developing the script for a standalone action thriller after the release of Singham Again and a few preliminary meetings with John have already taken place. Blockbuster 'Padmaavat' Sets Re-Release Date

Mumbai, January 22 - Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2018 mega-blockbuster historical drama Padmaavat is all set to re-release in cinemas on January 24, the makers announced officially on Wednesday. ## Padmaavat is based on the epic poem of the same name by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. It stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, a Sinhalese-born Rajput queen, wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor. Ranveer Singh played the villain as Alauddin Khilji. ## Rani Padmavati was known for her beauty and when Khilji heard about her beauty, he attacked her kingdom to enslave her. Mumbai, January 20 - After the success of romantic-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya last year, Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor returns to the big screen with director Rosshan Andrrews' action thriller Deva which is scheduled to be released on January 31. ## The film has been making the right noise ahead of its release with whatever content has been released so far. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a perfect action thriller, and in this process, the director has shot multiple climax scenes to keep the secrecy. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, three climaxes of the film have been shot and one of them will be locked in the final edit which is known to only the ones in the top tier of filmmaking. "Since Deva is a thriller about a murder that has taken place, it's crucial to avoid leaks. Actor Saif Ali Khan Attacked At His Residence

Mumbai, January 16 - Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was shockingly attacked by an intruder at his Mumbai home in the early hours of January 16. The actor was stabbed six times and was hospitalised at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, according to NDTV. ## Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said that Saif underwent a neurosurgery. The plastic surgery is still going on. Two of the six stab wounds are deep, and near the spine, said the statement from Lilawati Hospital. The actor is said to be out of danger, per NDTV report.## It is said that an intruder sneaked into Saif Ali Khan's house while he was sleeping. A scuffle between the actor and the intruder broke out and in this, Saif Ali Khan was reportedly attacked with a knife six times by the intruder who fled the crime scene. ## Saif Ali Khan's team has issued an official statement which reads, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence.
