Ranbir Kapoor's 'Dhoom 4' To Go On Floors In April 2026

Mumbai, June 2 - Yash Raj Films' action thriller Dhoom 4 is among the most-anticipated Bollywood movies. It was announced many moons back, but there hasn't been much development until recently, when it was reported that Ranbir Kapoor was roped in to play the lead role.

According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the script of Dhoom 4 is currently being developed at YRF. Aditya Chopra, along with writer Shridhar Raghavan, has teamed up to lock in the script for Dhoom 4, and they are working on a story draft worthy of the hype surrounding the blockbuster.



It is reported that the shoot for Dhoom 4 is expected to commence in April 2026, with the makers aiming to complete it by the end of the year for a 2027 release. Ayan Mukerji will reportedly direct the film, which will go into pre-production after the release of YRF's War 2 during Independence Day weekend 2025.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, and on calling it a wrap, he moves on to complete Ramayana 2. He will start Dhoom 4 after completing his current commitments. The actor also has Brahmastra 2 with Ayan Mukerji and Animal Park with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the pipeline.
