Gujarati Film Laalo Krishna Sada Sahaayate Sees Unexpected Turnaround In Collections In Week 4 At The Domestic Box Office
Mumbai, November 7 - The Indian box office witnessed an unprecedented turnaround this week after Gujarati devotional drama film Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayate, which turned into a sensation in its 4th weekend at the domestic box office. After scoring just around 35 lakh gross in the first week, followed by 30 lakh in the second week, and around 75 lakh in the third, the film's collection exploded in the 4th week to gross well over 10 crores. There were no signs of a potential breakout success as it failed to show any growth in the second week. It was reported that the makers showed the film in villages for free, which led to word of mouth spreading exponentially across the state. The Ankit Sakhiya's directorial grossed approximately 14.50 crores in its 4th week, jumping by over 4000% from the opening frame, which is something unheard of before. It had its biggest day on the 4th Wednesday (27th day) when it grossed approximately 3.25 crores, which is more than double the combined first three weeks' total. The total collection of the film is around 15.50 crores in 28 days.
