Thamma OTT Release Date: When and Where To Watch Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's Vampire Comedy

Mumbai, December 16 - Maddock Films' romantic vampire comedy Thamma is all set for its digital debut after completing its theatrical journey with a decent box office success, continuing the winning streak of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU).

Originally released on October 21, on the occasion of Diwali, the Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna-fronted film was made available for online streaming on Amazon Prime Video on December 2 for rental streaming. From 16 December, the film is now available on Prime Video for free for its users.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is the fifth instalment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. The film follows a journalist who, after encountering a mysterious woman, turns into a vampiric creature called Betal and must save humanity from the bloodlust of an ancient sect.

The film was opened with mixed reviews from critics and the audience alike. At the box office, it proved to be a decent success with a worldwide collection of around 188 crores. In India, it grossed over 161 crores, while overseas collection is around 27 crores. The franchise's brand value is expected to generate good buzz around its OTT release.
