Box Office: Zara Hatke Zara Bachke First Friday/Opening Day Early Estimates
Mumbai, June 2 - After the slow start in the morning, Maddock Films' Zara Hatke Zara Bachke picked up well during the day to post a healthy opening day at the box office. ## The movie had scored a decent advance booking which indicated a 3 crores start. However, the buy one get one offer helped the film to do well during the day as early estimates suggest around 5.50 crores net opening day. The number might reach 6 crores net which remains to see. ## Considering the low pre-release buzz, the opening of 5.50-6 crores can be termed very good for a movie featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. The last theatrical release of Kaushal "Bhoot – Part One" took the opening of 5.10 crores and that was in the pre-pandemic era. ## Should the movie actually open at 5.50 crores or with a little difference here and there, it is good news as the industry really needed the mid-range films to at least, open well before word of mouth comes into the play and ZHZB has been able to do that.## Apart from the buy one get one offer, the trade believes that keeping the low ticket prices has also helped the movie on its opening day and is up for a good opening weekend.
