Yash Raj Films Locks Release Date of Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR's 'War 2'

Mumbai, May 21 - Yash Raj Films' blockbuster sequel War 2 locks Republic Day 2025 weekend as the release date.

The blockbuster spy thriller has been in the news over the last few weeks regarding its casting after the studio pulled off a casting coup for this biggie by bringing Telugu superstar Jr. NTR on board to lock horns with Hrithik Roshan.



The "Brahmastra" director Ayan Mukerji was revealed as the director who will be helming the sequel which will go on floors by November or December this year. Now, according to LetsCinema, the studio has locked January 24, 2025, as the release date for "War 2" in multiple languages.

It will be released two years after YRF's biggest blockbuster to date, "Pathaan" starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone. "War 2" will be the continuation of the highly-anticipated Salman Khan-starrer "Tiger 3", which releases on Diwali this year.

"War 2" will mark Jr. NTR's Bollywood debut and it will be the first time when he will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan.
