Reimagining the life of Lord Krishna through the perspective of Satyabhama, the film has seen a steady climb in its collections since its release on Thursday. While the starting point was modest, the day-on-day growth suggests that the film is finding its audience, particularly those interested in a fresh take on traditional sagas. If we look at the collection trend, the film started with 0.42 crore on Thursday. However, it witnessed a massive jump of 173.8 percent on Friday, bringing in 1.15 crore. The momentum continued into the weekend, with Saturday recording 2.25 crore and Sunday hitting its peak at 3.50 crore. After a strong response to the film's promotional material and initial advance bookings, the makers have now confirmed that the Mohanlal-starrer will release not only in Malayalam but also in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada dubbed versions. Daadi Ki Shaadi has completed its first weekend at the box office, and the data suggests the film is finding it difficult to attract a large audience. Mumbai, May 11 - Riteish Deshmukh's historical action drama Raja Shivaji is approaching 100 crores gross after another good weekend at the Indian box office. The film, based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, remains the top choice among moviegoers despite new releases and strong holdovers across languages. Raja Shivaji witnessed another solid jump of 21% on Sunday, grossing around 8.10 crores, for a cumulative estimated gross of 18.60 crores (15.60 crores net) in the second weekend. Raja Shivaji witnessed a drop of around 53% from the opening weekend, which is a solid hold for a Marathi record-breaking opener. In the original Marathi version, the film has grossed 57 crore (48 crore net) while the Hindi version has contributed 24 crore (20.25 crore net) in 10 days so far. On BookMyShow, the film recorded 28.38K tickets on Friday, which jumped to 51.52K on Saturday, and saw its best performance on Sunday with 59.31K tickets. This brings the three-day BookMyShow total to a solid 139.21K tickets. In the major national chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, the growth was even more apparent. The film sold approximately 3,360 tickets on Friday, which increased significantly to about 10,130 on Saturday, and reached 16,330 on Sunday. Currently, Bhooth Bangla is chasing the record of Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has a worldwide gross of 265.50 crore. With Bhooth Bangla sitting at 241.49 crore, it needs another around 23.80 crore to cross that mark. Given the steady performance in the fourth week, we can estimate that Bhooth Bangla will likely cross the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 worldwide total by the end of its sixth week or during its sixth weekend. It needs to maintain its current momentum for at least two more weeks to claim that spot. Reaching the 250 crore worldwide milestone will be the first major step, which should happen within the next few days. However, we have some anticipated releases like Sidharth Malhotra's Vvan - Force of the Forrest and Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 arriving on May 15, which will likely cause some screen shrinkage and sharing. This past weekend proved that there is still plenty of gas left in the tank, as the film witnessed a significant jump in both footfalls and show counts. To understand the eighth weekend momentum, we should first look at the ticket sales activity. On BookMyShow alone, the film managed to sell 12.88K tickets on Friday, which grew to 19.48K on Saturday, and stayed strong with 15.98K on Sunday. This brings the three-day BookMyShow total to a solid 48.34K tickets. When we shift our focus to the major national chains, the growth is even more visible. The film started the weekend with about 2,460 tickets on Friday, but Saturday saw a massive spike as the numbers jumped to 7,190. By Sunday, the national chains recorded their best performance of the weekend with approximately 10,620 tickets.
