Mumbai, February 27 - The controversial reality TV show, superstar Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss hits jackpot with its season 16 which was recently concluded after the blockbuster 19 weeks.

Bigg Boss season 16, won by rapper MC Stan, was one of the most-watched Bigg Boss seasons and reality shows of all time. As per the numbers circulating in the media, BB16 hit 174 million viewers and over 135 billion viewing minutes on Colors TV.



It was the number 1 non-fiction show Hindi show in the financial year 2023. Bigg Boss season 13, which was won by the late Sidharth Shukla, is the all-time number 1 Hindi reality show. Though the viewership numbers of BB13 were not disclosed, insiders say it remains the number 1 show by a huge margin.

Talking about BB16, it premiered on Colors TV on 1 October 2022 while Grand Finale Aired on 12 February 2023 and was won by Indian rapper MC Stan while Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thakare emerged as 1st Runner-up respectively. "Udaariyan" fame, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary finished as the second runner-up.
