Mumbai, December 31 - Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has come under the scanner after its widely popular crime anthology series 'Crime Patrol' aired an episode with allegedly distorted facts.

According to opindia, Crime Patrol televised the recent horrifying case of Shraddha Walker's murder by her live-in boyfriend Aftab.



The show hit controversy after it allegedly distorted the facts and changed the religious identities of the victim and the culprit. It is reported that the show allegedly portrayed the victim, Shraddha Walkar, as a Christian girl while Aftab Poonawalla was depicted as Mihir.

Ever since the episode aired on Sony TV, netizens are expressing their disappointment and calling for Sony TV's Boycott. People are taking to Twitter and saying that Sony TV is allegedly trying to malign the Hindu community.
