Punjabi Blockbuster 'Honsla Rakh' To Premiere On Amazon Prime Video On November 24

Mumbai, November 23 - Punjabi film "Honsla Rakh" has turned out to be a big blockbuster at the box office. The comedy entertainer, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill, Sonam Bajwa, and Shinda Grewal was released over Dussehra weekend (October 15). Over the first weekend, it grossed Rs. 17 crores worldwide.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, "Honsla Rakh" remained solid throughout, and currently, it is the second highest-grossing Punjabi film of the covid-19 pandemic with Rs. 53.35 crores worldwide over 38 days. It is now gearing up to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 24. Prime Video also released the trailer with the premiere date.

Produced by Daljit Thind, and Diljit Dosanjh, "Honsla Rakh" is the top-grossing Punjabi film of 2021 at the domestic box office with a total collection of over ₹ 25 crores. It is only the second Punjabi film of the covid-19 pandemic era to reach ₹ 50 crores worldwide. "Chal Mera Putt 2" is at number 1 with ₹ 54.5 crores.

Apart from the box office success, the trailer of "Honsla Rakh", which was on September 27, is also the most viewed Punjabi movie trailer of all time. It currently has 27.4 million views on Youtube, which is approx. 1.2 million more than the second-placed "Shooter".
