NJPW Reveals Four-Man Tournament To Determine IWGP United States Championship Contender

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced a highly-anticipated four-man tournament to determine the next challenger for the coveted IWGP United States Championship, currently held by the legendary Kenny Omega.

The tournament will feature four of NJPW's top stars, with Lance Archer facing off against Juice Robinson at NJPW Collision in Philadelphia. On May 21, at NJPW Resurgence, Will Ospreay will make his return from a shoulder injury to take on Hiroshi Tanahashi.



The winners of these electrifying matchups will then collide at NJPW Dominion on June 4, where the ultimate victor will earn the right to challenge Omega for the coveted title. NJPW noted that Ospreay, who has been out of action since his victory over Mark Davis in the New Japan Cup match on March 13, will be making his highly-anticipated return to the ring.

This tournament promises to be an explosive showdown between some of the most skilled and formidable wrestlers in the industry.
