The recently released Dil Bechara starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi broke all the viewership records for an Indian movie on the digital platform. Disney+Hotstar that premiered the movie on July 24 registered the highest ever viewership with 95 million views within the first 24 hours of film's release. ## According to a Mid-Day report, a representative for the firm, Ormax Media, believes the numbers are comparable to viewership figures of the massively popular HBO series Game of Thrones, although he didn't provide any further data.## "If one wants to, comparisons could be drawn of Dil Bechara, and that of Game of Thrones, and this was possible even though the latter had a pre-existing viewer-base, while the film [did not]. Then again, Hotstar promoted Dil Bechara from the onset, marketing its release date and time well in advance. Viewers showed up in unison to watch it", reported Hindustan Times. ## Apart from breaking the viewership records, Dil Bechara also becomes the highest-rated Indian movie on the IMDb. Filmmaker Karan Johar To Be Questioned By Mumbai Police In Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

In the latest development under the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Mumbai Police have asked Dharma Productions owner Karan Johar to record his statement before Mumbai Police this week. Mumbai Police will also record Dharma Production CEO Apoorva Mehta's statement on Tuesday in the Sushant's case.## Earlier in the day, director Mahesh Bhatt recorded his statement. Mr. Bhatt reached the Santacruz police station at 11:30 AM and recorded his statements before Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Trimukhe.## Apart from Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar's manager and actor Kangana Ranaut have been asked to join investigations into the case, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said on Sunday. ## Kangana Ranaut who has been very vocal in this case and even alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was a victim of nepotism in the film industry, has also been summoned by the Bandra police, which is investigating the case. She is currently in Himachal Pradesh since March 17, has requested police to send a team to the state to record her statement in person.## Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14.
