On Sunday (November 29), the veteran actor, Dharmendra announced on Twitter that the sequel of his 2007 release Apne is in the works. The movie starred Dharmendra along with Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in lead roles while Kiron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Katrina Kaif played female leads in the film. ## Now, the sequel of one of the best family entertainers will see the three generations of the much-loved family. Directed by Anil Sharma, Apne 2 will also star Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol along with the original male cast. Bollywood actor Rahul Roy has suffered a brain stroke while shooting for a project in Kargil and is now admitted to the ICU of Mumbai's Nanavati hospital, according to India TV News.## The news comes as a shock for all the fans of the popular actor of the 90s era. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film titled 'LAC – Live the Battle' in Kargil when the incident took place. It was due to the harsh weather conditions that caused the stroke after which he was taken to Srinagar and then to Mumbai. ## "He was hospitalized two days ago after he arrived from Kargil. He was admitted due to a progressive brain stroke," the family source told PTI. "He is safe and recovering well. The recovery will take some time", they added.## Meanwhile, further, the report said that he has completed the shooting of his film which is based on the real-life event of Galwan Ghati. Directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta, the film is jointly produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu. Rahul in the same will be seen playing the role of a Major. The Sayani Gupta-starrer, Shameless, by writer-director Keith Gomes is the official Indian entry in the Live Action Short Film category at the 93rd Oscars, to be held next year in April. The 15-minute film is a black comedy thriller that beat short films including Vidya Balan's Natkhat in the Oscars entry race.## Co-starring Hussain Dalal and Rishabh Kapoor, Shameless revolves around the theme of loss of human spirit due to technology, while it also attempts to raise relevant questions on issues of entitlement, humanity, and empathy toward the migrant class.## "My experience on 'Shameless' was fantastic and now we submitting to the Oscars, it's a wow! Keith is wonderful as a director and very gentle with his actors and crew. Hussain, of course, is a great friend, and it was a ball working with him. Amid the lot of speculation about Thalapathy Vijay's Master for the direct OTT release, the makers have confirmed that though they have got an offer from a leading OTT platform, they have preferred a theatrical release of Master. ## In an official statement released by Xavier Britto and Lalit Kumar of XB Film Creations and Seven Screen Studio respectively, they have urged the cinema owners to stand by them in reviving the Tamil film industry. They also request fans not to believe any rumors about the film. ## "As we continue to battle the pandemic, we hope you are all safe and doing fine. We understand and can feel the amount of excitement the audience to celebrate our #Master in theaters. We await the Big Day to come, as much as you do. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior director, Om Raut is working on his next magnum opus, Adipurush - an adaptation of the epic Ramayana. The filmmaker has reportedly finished the scripting of this big-scale mythological and now, working on finalizing the cast. ## While Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan had already been announced to play Ram and Lankesh respectively, the search for other important characters is also looking on the finishing line. Now, the makers have finalized Kriti Sanon to play the role of Sita while Sunny Singh to portray Laxman in Adipurush, as reported earlier. ## Sunny Singh who was last seen in Navjot Gulati's Jai Mummy Di last year has signed the film and started shooting. The actor is elated to have bagged such a massive project and is excited to share screen space with the superstar Prabhas as his aide and younger brother. ## For the role of Sita, earlier the names like Keerthy Suresh, Anushka Sharma, and Deepika Padukone had cropped up, but Kriti Sanon is brought on board to play Prabhu Ram's wife's role in this most awaited film. ## "After considering several top names, from both the Hindi and Telugu industries, the makers have decided on Kriti. Sara's character has an interesting mythological arc to it. She is expected to sign within a fortnight and will start prepping from early next year". ## According to the publication, The Immortal Ashwatthama is set around the contemporary times and modeled around Guru Dronacharya's son Ashwatthama, who in Mahabharata gets the curse to be immortal. In a major relief for actress Kangana Ranaut, the Bombay high court on Friday set aside the demolition order passed on September 9 by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and held that the demolition action "was actuated by mala fides".## It held that the constructions done by her in her Bandra bungalow in Pali Hill, Bandra was "pre-existing" and not ongoing and also held that she is entitled to damages but appointed a valuer to help quantify it.## Soon after judgment came in favor of her, Kangana Ranaut shared a video on social media thanking the judicial system. She also thanked the people who supported her regarding this matter. "When individual stands against the government and wins, it's not the victory of the individual but it's the victory of the democracy. Thank you everyone who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. She said she had completed renovations earlier and alleged "abuse of power" and "mala fide action" by the Shiv Sena ruled BMC.## The case was being heard by the division bench of Justices SJ Kathawalla and RI Chagla, who said that the actress is allowed to make the bungalow habitable. However, it also said that the extent of the demolished position requires planning permission from the BMC.## The Court also asked to appoint a valuer to determine the compensation payable to the actress for the demolition of her property, which is to be submitted before the court in March 2021.## "We do not accept allegations made by the petitioner in view of the alleged atmosphere in the state of the film industry. The petitioner is suggested to maintain restrain on public platforms. Irresponsible statements made by the citizens are best ignored", the bench stated.## "Whatever be her statements, no action can lie except within four corners of the law. The manner in which action was carried out leaves hardly any doubt that it was against the law and sinister.
