One such film is John Abraham-starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which releases on November 25.## Directed by Milap Zaveri, the official spiritual sequel of the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate has been one of the most-awaited Bollywood films. Mumbai, November 17 - The moment, all Spider-Man fans around the world have been waiting for, is finally here as Sony/Marvel released the second trailer of the 3rd MCU Spider-Man flick, "No Way Home", on Wednesday (IST). The awaited 2nd trailer premiered only a month before the movie releases in theaters (Dec. 17), and it gave a closer look at what Peter Parker aka Spider-Man is going to face in the movie, which is seen as the finest Spider-Man film. ## When someone says that "No Way Home" is your film to watch out for, trust him because it is going to be that epic in many ways. It is not like the previous Spidey movies where Peter Parker made things miserable and when they looked getting out of control, he fought with them and managed to save the universe. This time, he has many things to get right and in that process, he is going to face a Villainous Multiverse, in which, all the previous super-villains of Spider-Man movies, come face-to-face to take on Tom Holland's web-slinger. ## So this is how it all begins. Peter Parker (Tom Holland), whose identity as Spider-Man revealed at the end of 2019's "Spider-Man: Far From Home", seeks the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to undo the chaos created by him. However, in the process of hiding his identity, the multiverse gets open that unleashes a suite of villains from previous "Spider-Man" franchises, including Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin from 2002's "Spider-Man", Alfred Molina's Otto Octavius from 2004's "Spider-Man 2", Thomas Haden Church's Sandman from 2007's "Spider-Man 3", Rhys Ifans' the Lizard from 2012's "The Amazing Spider-Man" and Jamie Foxx's Electro from 2014's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2".## It was already revealed through confirmed reports and major leaks that the previous Spider-Man villains would be featuring in "No Way Home", their inclusion had also led fans to expect that the actors who previously played the iconic web-slinger - Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield - would be making their presence in the second trailer. However, this didn't happen despite Molina's Doc Ock does not consider Holland to be Peter Parker, as shown in the trailer. ## The 2nd "No Way Home" trailer was first launched at a fan event in Los Angeles, where Tom Holland and others were present. While the guessing game is still on about the inclusion of Tobey and Garfield - Holland did appear to hint that such a moment could be in the film by referring to shooting a "true moment in cinematic history".## Holland did not spill the details, but he said that when Marvel first pitched him the movie, "I was like, 'That's never going to work. There's no way you're going to be able to get that done'. And they did". He added, "You're going to see a style of fighting in this film that you've never seen in a Spider-Man movie before. They designed these fights to shock you guys, to really put you on your back foot". ## Directed by Jon Watts, the movie also stars Zendaya reprising her role as MJ, Jacob Batalon is back as Ned Leeds, Marisa Tomei is Aunt May, Jon Favreau returns as Happy Hogan and Benedict Wong is Wong from "Doctor Strange". Akshay Kumar-starrer "Sooryavanshi", which is the biggest Bollywood film in the last 18 months, has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 at the worldwide box office. ## Rohit Shetty-directed cop drama has grossed ₹ 234 crores worldwide over 11 days and surpassed Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster "Master", which grossed approx ₹ 223 crores at the worldwide box office. "Sooryavanshi" has netted ₹ 155.73 crores, which is the highest for an Indian film in 2021. ## Internationally, "Sooryavanshi" has grossed ₹ 50.37 crores so far, which is again the biggest overseas box office number for an Indian film in the current year. Rajinikanth's "Annaatthe" is at the second position with approx ₹ 45 crores overseas. Over ₹ 150 crore-budgeted, "Sooryavanshi" is the first ₹ 200 crores grosser Bollywood film since Ajay Devgn's "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior" in January 2020. ## Co-produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty, Dharma Productions, and Cape Of Good Films, "Sooryavanshi" is the 5th highest net collection film for Akshay Kumar after Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Good Newwz, and 2.0. For Katrina Kaif, who plays a female lead opposite Akshay, it is the 6th highest-netted film and likely to enter the top 5 at the end of its box office run. ## "Sooryavanshi", which also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in the extended cameos, has been an important film for Bollywood and one would say, it has passed the tough test. Now, the government of Karnataka has decided to honour the late actor with the Karnataka Ratna award posthumously. ## The Karnataka Ratna is the state's highest civilian award. Puneeth Rajkumar was the son of veteran actor Rajkumar. He was cremated with state honors last month. The actor, who was the star of films like Mourya, Arasu, Raamand Anjani Putra, is survived by his wife Ashwini Revanth and has two children.## Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj S Bommai took to Twitter and announced the same. Los Angeles, November 16 - Disney Studios' "Jungle Cruise" has failed to attract Chinese audiences at the box office after a delayed release in the country. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, the family-friendly adventure film was released in China over the past weekend (Nov. 12) and could generate only $3.3 million in the first three days (Fri-Sun). ## "Jungle Cruise" had reportedly cost Disney around $200 million for the production. It was released in the US on July 30, simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+. It earned over $35 million at the domestic box office and estimated $30 million on Disney+ Premier Access in its first three days. Currently, it has earned over $215 million worldwide at the box office. ## The film, however, received positive word of mouth from Chinese audiences who watched the film in theaters. However, the rampant piracy, and a limited marketing effort from Disney in the "Fast & Furious" franchise-loving country, played a big part in the movie not performing well in China. ## "Jungle Cruises" scored 8.9 on Maoyan and 6.1 on Douban, similar to MGM's James Bond installment No Time to Die. While "No Time To Die" has earned $58 million so far in China after $4.4 million in its 4th weekend, Disney's film has been projected to earn a total of just $6.19 million, according to the Maoyan estimates.## A sequel to "Jungle Cruise" has been greenlit at Disney, for which, the announcement was made when the original film grossed $100 million at the North America box office. However, due to the second covid-19 wave, the makers thought it won't be ready by the end of this year, hence they decided to postpone it again to Valentine's Day weekend 2022, and announced it with much enthusiasm. ## The latest development around this big-budgeted film is that even February 2022 release looks uncertain. According to reports, the post-production of LSC will take a lot of time and it won't be ready by the said announced date. It is said that Aamir has now decided to postpone it by 2-3 months, and will release it in mid-2022. ## "Laal Singh Chaddha's post-production will take a lot of time. There's so much work pending in its post-production and it can no way be ready for a February release. It's a film made on a big canvas and requires at least six months of post-production work. Aamir and the makers don't want to compromise on the quality of the film and hence have collectively decided to postpone it again by 2-3 months to make it as envisioned", a source close to the project informed peepingmoon.com. ## While the new release date for "Laal Singh Chaddha" is yet to be locked, the report said that the Valentine's Day weekend slot has now been booked by a leading production banner for its yet-untitled upcoming relationship drama starring a top actress. ## LSC is the official remake of Tom Hanks' 1994 Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump". It is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures and co-stars Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya (Hindi debut), and Mona Singh in prominent roles. Box Office: Sooryavanshi Go Past 150 Crores India Net After Strong Second Weekend

Mumbai, November 15 - Sooryavanshi continued its box office juggernaut and scored a brilliant ₹ 30.68 crores (estimate) in the second weekend. The strong second weekend helped this Akshay Kumar-fronted to go past ₹ 150 crores net in India, the 6th highest domestic figure for him. ## "Sooryavanshi" dropped 50% from the first Sunday for its second Sunday collection of ₹ 13.39 crores and down by 60% on the second weekend as compared to ₹ 77.08 crores in the opening Diwali weekend. The current domestic net collection for Rohit Shetty-directed stands at ₹ 151.23 crores after 10 days.## Overseas, "Sooryavanshi" has grossed approx ₹ 50 crores so far, which is the best overseas box office number for a Bollywood movie since December 2019 when Akshay's own film, "Good Newwz" grossed ₹ 74 crores. The total worldwide box office collection of "Sooryavanshi" stands at ₹ 228 crores, which is again, 6th highest gross worldwide total for the Bell Bottom actor. ## Katrina Kaif, who plays the female lead in "Sooryavanshi" also scored her 6th highest domestic earner. For director Rohit Shetty, "Sooryavanshi" becomes the 4th highest domestic net collection film, after "Simmba" (₹ 340 cr.), "Chennai Express" (₹ 227 cr.), and "Golmaal Again" (₹ 205.69 cr.). ## On the other hand, the Tamil movie "Annaatthe", featuring superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, has crossed ₹ 100 crores net the domestic box office. The action drama film has had a fantastic start, scoring over ₹ 82 crores in the opening 4-day weekend (Thu-Sun), however, due to heavy rainfall and flood-like situation in Tamil Nadu, the collection got affected. Over the second weekend, it earned ₹ 5.90 crores, which helps Siva-directed to cross the ₹ 100 crore mark. ## Overseas, "Annaatthe" has earned approx ₹ 45 crores so far, taking its total worldwide gross to ₹ 163 crores. It has released over 1100 screens overseas in 66 countries, which is the widest ever release for a Tamil movie.
