Box Office: 'Kalki 2898 AD' Tops 300 Crore Worldwide After Huge First Saturday
Hyderabad, June 30 - Director Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD has topped 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office after the huge first Saturday despite the India and South Africa T20 World Cup final match which saw Men In Blue emerging winner in a thriller clash. ## The Prabhas-starrer movie, however, largely remained unaffected and grossed over 100 crores worldwide on its third day. On the ticketing platform Book My Show, Kalki sold 1.28 million tickets (12.80 lahks) on day 3, a jump of around 15% on the second-day ticket count of 1.12 million on the platform. ## The movie grossed an estimated 77+ crores in India on its third day, which pushed the domestic total to around 260 crores. The overseas collection after 3 days is estimated to be around 110 crores for around 370 crores worldwide, and with strong Sunday loading, Kalki 2898 is looking at 500 crores 4-day opening weekend. ## As said, if Kalki 2898 AD tops 500 crores in the opening weekend, it will be the 6th Indian movie after Baabubali 2, RRR, KGF: Chapter 2, Pathaan, and Jawan, to achieve the feat (including extended weekend).## Stay tuned...
