Atlee Compares Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' With Ranbir Kapoor-Fronted 'Animal'
Mumbai, December 9 - The much-awaited trailer of actor Varun Dhawan's action drama Baby John which is directed by Tamil director Kalees and produced by Atlee Kumar, was launched on Monday, December 9 at Dr D Y Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri-Chinchwad, near Pune in the presence of thousands of excited students. ## The trailer is packed with non-stop massy moments and it promises to showcase Varun Dhawan in a never-before-seen avatar. This is the first action movie of Varun and the actor is all charged up for the same. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is playing a blockbuster cameo and his glimpse was shown in the trailer. ## Baby John is one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies and Atlee has hyped it by calling the film Varun Dhawan's Animal moment. Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor was a massive box-office blockbuster last year and Atlee believes that Baby John will prove to be the same kind of success for Varun. ## "With Varun Dhawan, we are creating one more superstar. What Animal has done for Ranbir Kapoor sir, Baby John will do that to Varun Dhawan, by God's blessings", Atlee said as per Bollywood Hungama.## The film is the adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster Theri (2016) which was directed by Atlee. The Bollywood movie has Keethy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead while Jackie Shroff plays the antagonist role.
