Mumbai, March 5 - Two of the most loved Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are teaming up for the first time for the catchy romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The movie is scheduled to release on March 8, Wednesday on the occasion of Holi with a long weekend ahead of it. ## The movie is releasing after Bollywood got hit with two back-to-back flops in the form of "Shehzada" and "Selfiee", so there is added pressure on TJMM to break the shackle. Much delight to the makers, the first-time pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha is set to spring a surprise at the box office, at least, the initial response to the pre-sales indicating the same. ## The full-fledged advance booking of TJMM was opened on Sunday (March 5) morning after three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) gradually opened the pre-sales on Saturday evening. As for the record, the film has sold approx. 30K tickets worth approx. 1 crore gross so far, and the numbers are increasing with each passing hour. The three national chains have sold approx. 11K tickets, which is promising ahead of the release. ## Produced by T-Series, and Luv Films, TJMM should be able to take a good opening, and seeing the early advance booking response, the opening of around 15 crores net is well within the reach. Mumbai, March 4 - The King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan is officially the King of action as his latest blockbuster Pathaan has shattered all the existing records at the box office for a Bollywood film and that too, with ease.## The spy action thriller started its box office journey on January 25 and after 38 days, "Pathaan" is now the biggest blockbuster ever in India in a single language. It has crossed the lifetime net collection of SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster "Baahubali 2" which scored 510.99 crores net in Hindi in 2017. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is now the biggest Indian as well as a non-Indian movie at the domestic box office as far as the net collection is concerned. However, it is still behind "Baahubali 2" in terms of gross collection as tax rates were higher at the time of the letter's release back in 2017. ## As far as the single language is concerned, "KGF: Chapter 2" is the 3rd in the list with approx. 435 crores net in Hindi, followed by "RRR" at number 4 with approx. 428 crores net in the Telugu language, and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" which scored approx. 374 crores net in the Hindi language. ## Overall, "Pathaan" has scored approx. 530 crores net in all three versions (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). The Siddharth Anand's directorial featured a theater-shaking cameo of superstar Salman Khan's Tiger with SRK. ## The spy universe will deep dive into the next film Tiger 3. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the blockbuster movie will have a cameo role of Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan. The union of two of the biggest megastars in the history of Indian cinema created mass hysteria in "Pathaan" and a bigger response is expected in "Tiger 3". ## Salman's Tiger indicated in "Pathaan" that he was going on a deadly mission and that he might need Pathaan's help. Now, according to the latest reports, SRK will be shooting for a cameo role next month and has reportedly allotted 7 days for the same. ## "In Tiger 3, the director has chalked out a massive action scene set in jail (for Salman Khan & SRK). It will be a continuation of an elaborate sequence shot by Salman last year. The actor too showed interest in the movie and asked the director to give him some time to take the final call. ## Despite the keen interest, the "Pushpa" actor reportedly not doing the movie, due to various reasons, and one of them is his highly-anticipated Pan India blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rule" which is currently under production. ## According to Pinkvilla, Allu Arjun couldn't say yes to the film due to his tight schedule. He has been training rigorously to get into the skin of his character for Pushpa 2 and for the next few months, he is only going to focus on it. ## "Jawan" is SRK and Atlee's maiden collaboration, and if reports are to be believed, there is a strong cameo role in the movie which requires A-Lister. The producer also working to revive Welcome and Awara Pagal Deewana, and he finally seems to have found a way to successfully bring them into the scene. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, producer Firoz Nadiadwala has locked "Awara Pagal Deewana 2" which will be the immediate next after Hera Pheri 3. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal will be returning to reprise their popular quirky characters of Guru Gulab Khatri, Yeda Anna, and Manilal Patel, respectively, and this time, they will be joined by John Abraham. ## The script of "Awara Pagal Deewana 2" has reportedly been locked and the movie is expected to go into production later this year. The report says that Ahmed Khan will be directing the sequel this time, and he has already begun the preparation. The first movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt. ## The status of "Welcome 3" is not clear yet but it is expected to get on the floor by next year. Mumbai, February 27 - Back in 2020, producer Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur came together to announce the war drama movie Pippa, starring Ishaan Khattar and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. ## "Airlift" director Raja Krishna Menon helmed the movie, based on the book The Burning Chaffees by Balram Singh Mehta who fought during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. Khattar has played the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.## The movie was originally announced to release in 2021, before makers postponed it to December 2, 2022, due to the covid-19 pandemic which delayed the shoot. When it was looking on track for December 2022 release, the makers postponed it again due to an unknown reason and they are yet to lock the new release date. ## The makers are eyeing only theatrical release as the film is made for the big screen. Now, according to the latest reports, "Pippa" won't be released anytime soon, and there are chances it will only release in 2024 on the silver screen. ## According to PeepingMoon, "Pippa" has returned to the editing table as the final product failed to match the criteria required to get a go-ahead from the producers. Considering it is an 85-crore project, the makers are reworking on it to make it appealing to a wider audience. ## The film takes its title from the Russian amphibious war tank called the PT-76, popularly known as Pippa.
