Mumbai, July 6 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are reportedly in talks for a biopic. The actor-director duo previously collaborated on two occasions, "3 Idiots" (2008) and "PK" (2014), and now, after almost a decade, they are likely to come together again. ## According to Pinkvilla, Hirani recently discussed a script with Aamir who instantly got excited. The duo have discussed many ideas in the past and it seems, they finally have found one which is said to be a biopic drama film. The report states that even though the discussion between the two at present is at a nascent stage, it seems promising. ## Rajkumar Hirani is presently working on a social comedy-drama film "Dunki" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The blockbuster filmmaker will start working on the final script and other pre-production formalities of Aamir's film after the release of his maiden film with SRK. ## Meanwhile, there are reports that Hirani will direct cricketer Lala Amarnath's biopic and the latest report is in sync with the earlier reports. However, it is not yet confirmed that both Aamir's film and Amarnath's biopic are the same as speculated. ## Aamir, on the other hand, is currently on a break after the disastrous result of his last film "Laal Singh Chaddha". Mumbai, July 5 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan teams up with director Kabir Khan for the first time for a unique sports drama titled "Chandu Champion". Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the shoot of the film recently commenced as it is scheduled to release on June 14, 2024, in cinemas worldwide. ## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, the makers are in talks with actress Shraddha Kapoor to play the female lead role. It is said that Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are keen on bringing Shraddha on board to play the leading lady opposite Kartik in the film.## The "Stree" actress is reportedly the front-runner to grab the leading role in "Chandu Champion", however, she hasn't signed on yet officially. If Shraddha comes on board, it will be her first film with Kartik in the main role, although the duo shared screen space in the recently released "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar" wherein Kartik featured in a guest appearance.## Meanwhile, Shraddha is currently gearing up to commence the shoot of the much-awaited sequel to her blockbuster horror-comedy, "Stree", co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Siddharth Anand's directorial was released earlier this year and grossed close to 1050 crores at the worldwide box office. ## On Wednesday (July 5), the makers announced that the all-time blockbuster movie will be hitting Japanese theaters on September 1st this year. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies, the movie will be released worldwide on October 20 this year on the occasion of Dussehra. ## "Tejas" is based on the landmark event in 2016 when the Indian Air Force became the country's first defense force to induct women into combat roles. It is about the courageous journey of an Indian Air Force pilot, Tejas Gill played the Kangana. ## The movie was originally scheduled for Dussehra 2022 release but has now been slated for the same festive weekend in 2023. Mumbai, July 5 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's popularity is at an all-time high after his historic comeback with Yash Raj Films' "Pathaan". This Siddharth Anand's directorial grossed more than 1000 crores at the worldwide box office and made SRK only the second Bollywood actor after Aamir Khan to reach the rare box office mark. ## Shah Rukh Khan's next two films "Jawan" and "Dunki" are the most-anticipated Bollywood films and according to the reports, both films are in red hot demand in the trade. According to Pinkvilla, SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, which has produced both movies, has sold the non-theatrical rights for a record price. ## "It's Shah Rukh Khan v/s Shah Rukh Khan now as the top two non-theatrical deals of all time are under the name of King Khan. While the digital, satellite, and music rights of Jawan are sold for approximately Rs 250 crore, the same for Dunki is around Rs 230 crore", the report states. ## "Jawan", directed by Atlee, will also be released in Tamil and Telugu which is the reason it scored a higher deal in non-theatrical rights while Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki" is an exclusive Hindi release as of now. "There are some non-theatrical deals which are still getting locked and the eventual total non-theatrical revenue for two films will be close to Rs 500 crore", the website further reports.## As said, the global stardom of SRK, especially after the "Pathaan" euphoria, has resulted in such massive pre-release numbers. Mumbai, July 4 - The Bollywood release calendar continues to shuffle and yet, it is becoming hard for the filmmaker to find a solo release date for their films. Over the last few days, a number of Bollywood films have changed the release dates, including the big guns. ## Ranbir Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Animal" is one of the most-awaited films. It was supposed to release on August 11 but has now been postponed to December 1st this year due to delay in the post-production work. Just like its original date, "Animal" won't get a solo release and will directly clash with Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur" and the comedy "Fukrey 3". ## Directed by Meghna Gulzar, "Sam Bahadur" is a huge film but at the moment, "Animal" carries massive hype which makes it a strong contender to emerge as a box office hit. After the movie was postponed to December 1st, there have been rumors that "Sam Bahadur" might get postponed as it deserves a solo release, however, producer Ronnie Screwvala has denied such rumors and confirmed that it will be released as scheduled without worrying about clash with other movies. ## "We have announced our Sam Manekshaw release date months in advance and we intend to come on December 1st, come what may. We are a film about one of the greatest men to have served his country and we hope audiences support us totally. Content works - it's no longer about Friday openings - audiences are sharp and decide on their own", the producer said to Pinkvilla. ## "Sam Bahadur" is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.## Vicky Kaushal plays the title role while the movie also stars "Dangal" girls Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh as the female leads. Vicky Kaushal won high praise for his role in "Uri - The Surgical Strike" which was also based on the valor of the Indian army and the expectations from his upcoming movie are also high. Mumbai, July 4 - Kangana Ranaut production's satirical romantic comedy-drama "Tiku Weds Sheru" starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur has turned out to be a digital success upon its release on June 23 on Amazon Prime Video. ## Directed by Sai Kabir, the film tells the story of Tiku (Avneet), who looks at marriage as her escape to Mumbai from a local town to become an actress, and Sheru (Nawazuddin), who has been working as a junior artist in the city for years. They get married and the comedy of errors for this couple starts. ## The movie has so far scored 7.2 million views on Amazon Prime Video in the first 10 days. In its opening weekend (June 23 - June 25), "Tiky Weds Sheru" scored 3.4 million views and was the 4th most-watched Hindi digital title in India during the same week, according to Ormax Media. ## Despite the mixed reviews, TWS scored 3.8 million views during the week of June 26 - July 2 and was the 3rd most-watched film digitally. The total viewership currently stands at 7.2 million views which is a good result for a low-budget film.## The movie also stars Khushi Bhardwaj, Mukesh Bhatt Vipin Sharma, and Zakir Hussain, among many others in key roles. It also has Kangana Ranaut as herself in a special appearance.## Meanwhile, "Bigg Boss OTT Season 2" on Jio Cinema continues to remain on top of the streaming chart and scored 6.2 million views in the last week. Mumbai, July 4 - Back in September 2021, Kangana Ranaut announced her biggest film on Goddess Sita, titled "Sita: The Incarnation". It was the dream project of writer-director Alaukik Desai who brought Kangana on board to play the divine role of Sita. ## Saloni Sharma and Anshita Desai of SS Studio was supposed to produce this VFX-heavy magnum opus project, however, there has been no development took place after since the announcement of the movie. It was later rumoredly got shelved due to some reasons though the makers didn't confirm the cancelation. ## Now, nearly after two years, Kangana Ranaut seems to have given a hint about the making of "Sita: The Incarnation" or something related to Sita. On July 3, the actress took to social media to post about Sita in which she talks about Sita's origin story which hasn't been explored before. ## The actress mentioned Valmiki Ramayana's opening shaloka, "Ramayana is the story of Sita's greatness" before she began asking "Why Maharishi Valmiki wrote this in the form of a shaloka in the beginning of Ramayana when Ramayana is clearly the story of Lord Rama, have you ever thought why he wrote this?"## "Who was Mata Sita before she became Lord Rama's wife? Is it true that young Maithili lifted the mighty Shiv Dhanush merely at the age of 6 with her little finger?", she continued, "Is it true that she was Narayani avatar who appeared not from the human womb but from the womb of Mother Earth? But why? Was she the heir of great King Janaka? Princess of the great empire of Mithila?"## The National award-winning actress concluded her post by asking "Have you ever thought who Ma Sita was before that swayamvar where Lord Rama met her?"## It is not yet confirmed in which context Kangana said all these things but her post is being seen as a possible confirmation about making something on Sita. The actress previously said that Sita was a dream role for her to play and that she was super excited about the same. ## Meanwhile, the script of "Sita: The Incarnation" has been written by the "Baahubali" writer KV Vijayendra Prasad and Desai, and it has been one of the most ambitious projects in progress. The dialogues and lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir. Mumbai, July 3 - Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra's action thriller "Yodha" has officially been postponed from September 15 by three months and will now be released on December 15, 2023, in theaters worldwide. ## "Yodha" is the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha.
