Box Office: 'Animal' Scores Well In 4th Weekend Domestically With Limited Showcasing
Mumbai, December 25 - Ranbir Kapoor's mega-blockbuster Animal is fighting it out to keep the cash register ringing despite the showcasing drastically reduced after the arrival of Shah Rukh Khan's "Dunki" and Prabhas-fronted "Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire at the domestic box office. ## Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal has had a very good 4th weekend in India, scoring approximately 4.90 crores net collection, including approx. 4.55 crores net in Hindi alone. There has been a demand to increase the show count and plans are there to meet the demand from Monday. ## The total net collection of the action drama film is approximately 536 crores and generated 3.21 crores footfalls after 24 days. In Hindi, the movie has minted over 486 crores net so far. At once, it looked like Animal will be able to top 500 crores net in Hindi easily but now, things are looking difficult unless it holds strongly through New Year weekend. ## Animal may also miss the 900 crores mark at the global box office and competition is consistently increasing which is leading to low showcasing for the movie everywhere. Through 4th weekend, the movie has minted approximately 870 crores gross, including an estimated 231 crores overseas collection.## However, irrespective of where the movie finishes at the end of its run, Animal is one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema history, and easily the biggest for an adult-rated film.## Stay tuned...
